Or afterwards when cleaning the clippers and blade. I have clipper oil. Is this worth getting too?** A: Use it before, during and after. It helps clean and cool blades during clipping. Also lubricates and cleans blades. I would use oil between blade use as it's great for lubricating the blades but too thick to use during groom. I have found this andis spray to be the best all rounder, I'm currently using the groom proffessional spray which is ok but not as good as the andis one. I would also recommend getting a blade wash for a deeper clean around once a week depending on use.
