Crystal Deodorant Stick 120 g

This Crystal Deodorant Stick is highly effective and very long lasting.. It is so gentle on the skin, causes no irritation,and is so dependable In the hot and humid weather, I have used the product, immediately after a shower, when my skin is still wet, and 8 hours later, my armpits smell fresh, with no trace of odour. It leaves no marks on clothes and is so easy to use. I love the fact it is natural, and has no chemicals in it. It is important to use it on wet/damp skin or wet the top of the deodorant stick and apply. I will keep purchasing this deodorant because it is the best that I have ever used, and I have tried many.

I have been using Crystal deodorant for three weeks and have been that impressed with it, I went back to leave a review. This product is a miracle! Heard it mentioned on Mumsnet and went to investigate. TBH found it hard to believe all the claims the manufacturers were making. Sounded a bit too good to be true. Well, it IS that fantastic! I developed a BO issue after my third child and putting some weight on. Even after showering + deo, within 2 hours my underarms would honk. I hated this stale smell of BO mixed with deo fragrance on my clothes, it would not even wash. Had to rub my garments with detergent before I put them in the wash, as they would still come out with that stale smell out of the washing machine. I was getting fed up and desperate. Tried every deodorant in the shops. None of them stopped BO. Went for some drastic ones like Perspirex and Dryclor in the end. They stopped the smell and any dampness, but turned my skin very sore. Although they said their effect will last 5-7 days, I would start getting a whiff on the second day, so had to apply them more frequently, cue very unhappy underarms skin. Now, thank you Mumsnet. I shall be eternally grateful for introducing me to this amazing product. I was very sceptical to start with, but Crystal is every bit as wonderful as it says on the tin! No more BO! None! Nil! Zilch! I can go to the gym and work my socks off and I do not smell. I do not need to rub armpits on my tops with detergent before I wash them! I feel liberated! The product has no smell/fragrance. My armpits just smell clean throughout the day, even when slightly damp from exercise. The only negative reviews on here are from people who did not use it correctly, so they should not be surprised the product did not work. The important bit is to only apply it to a very clean skin. And make sure your skin is wet. Rub it in generously, the more the better. If your skin started to dry after a shower, wet it again before rubbing the Deo on it. I do not wet the stick itself. I am so so happy with this product. I have binned all my conventional deodorants, as I shall not be going back!

Using roll-on deodorant led me to become increasingly disillusioned by issues such as the marks it can leave on your clothes, the chemical fragrances added, and the high cost. It seemed like I was having to buy another tube of the stuff every two weeks or so! This product has effectively solved all these problems. My biggest surprise has been how effective it is. Unlike some of the other, highly fragranced offerings, this doesn't mask odour it simply kills it dead. And since this stick lasts at least a year it's way cheaper than even basic budget roll-ons. Hoorah! The stick is in the form of a solid lump of non fragranced crystal which winds up via a rotating base, rather like a lipstick. To use you simply twist and expose, wet it under the tap and then rub under your arm. Alternatively just rub it over wet skin, after a shower. And that's all there is to it. Just remember not to put it down on natural stone surfaces afterwards or you might damage them through interaction of the mineral salt. Before I go I must just add a cautionary note on the subject of "natural ingredients" Various other reviewers have commented that they've started to use this deodorant in order to steer clear of the aluminium found in roll-ons. Well, I'm afraid that "natural mineral salt" products like this don't avoid the problem. This stick is a chunk of ammonium alum, also known as ammonium aluminium sulfate. Ammonium alum is manufactured from aluminium hydroxide, sulfuric acid and ammonium sulfate. Yes, it might also - rarely - occur naturally as a mineral salt, but don't go thinking you'll avoid aluminium ions if that's your goal in life. However, provided you know they're present, and you're happy with the effectiveness of the product then you can do your own research and come to your own informed decision about using it or not. In summary it works very effectively, is fragrance free, non staining and it saves me money.

I got a bit worried when i discovered a lump in my armpit. It went away in a few days but that made me wonder of my deodorant had anything to do with it. Could not shake the feeling that the aluminium in the deodorant can cause it so ive said THAT'S IT! i am swapping to natural deodorant. I was very scared in the beginning as i did not want to smell of BO, but to my suprise...this little wonder works magic. No smell, no issues, no rash, no nothing. Perfection! The only inconvenience is that you need the surface to be wet before applying so that i did ive put water into an empty body spray container and spray ot before applying. I will try to add a bit of essential oil in it just for it to smell of somthing. :)

I was very hopeful that this would work for me as no other deodorants work. Though it does not work 100% (it's summer time and it's very hot - still waiting for the winter to test it), it's definitely better than all the other deodorants I have used all my life. I sweat less but BO is not completely eliminated (that is what I am looking for), it smells much less and only I can smell it, not everyone around me, so that's positive. So I give it a 3-star rating because it does not eliminate 100% of BO, but works so much better than everything I have tried.

Had been searching high and low for a deodorant that actually works in tackling the smell rather than masking it. At first I was a bit dubious about this product despite the many brilliant reviews on it already. I mean, just exactly how can a piece of rock salt be the salvation to my embarrassing problem? Especially as you cannot actually see whether you have applied any on or not. It says to use it wet and on clean skin which I do every night after I have showered. I literally rub the piece of salt all over criss-cross, up and down both pits. I still cannot see whether any of the product has transferred onto my skin or not and I can't really feel it there with my fingers so I just put it down to faith. The ONLY way I can tell that it does work is that whenever I sweat now I don't have an overpowering pungent aroma coming from that area any more! And it has been tested thoroughly as well. I must say that I am totally amazed at how effective it is for me. It doesn't even require me to re-apply it throughout the day. I find that after I've applied it at night before bed, I remain 'fresh' throughout the whole of the next day. No chemicals or fragrance. I love you Mother Nature!

after using aerosol cans since forever my under arms become really sensitive so I took to amazon for an alternative and stumbled across this and oh wow am I glad I did . I've been useing this for the last 6 months an still have at least another year or two left to go, my under arms are 100 times better than they were 6 months ago. No more deodorant stains on my clothes no more dodgy old deodorant smell an most of all B.O free. The last few days we have had a heat wave I will be honest by the end of the day there was a faint smell coming from the pits but even if you use deodorant cans you tend to get that anyway. I've now converted most my family and friends like me they were unsure if it really worked but it did an not only is it natural you also save money as it lasts for ages. I also use it on the boobs for any of you big boobed woman out there.

The product itself is good, it's very gentle on my underarms which get very irritated with using normal regular deodorants. I could spend hours scratching my underarms till they were raw but with this it's so gentle it doesn't affect them at all. I still find it provides a good amount of coverage i.e. I may sweat a tiny but not very much and no smell at all. The only thing I really strongly dislike about this product is that it is in a plastic case packaging thing but the actual crystal itself just falls out when you turn it to "roll" under your arm! it fell out once in the sink and cracked a bit off, now very sharp to use! then I went to roll it under my arm and it fell out again! If they could just secure the very bottom like 5mm into the plastic then it wouldn't do this but as it is it is very frustrating packaging!
