Well made good quality funnel and strainer.

Item is genuine and EXCELLENT QUALITY. It has a part that fits in top of the funnel go help with filtering whilst pouring. It a solid gadget for any kitchen who wants quality.

Sturdy, well made and as, expected from a household name brand

I use the funnel for making kombucha, the removable sieve that inserts into the mouth of the funnel is perfect for filtering out the tea leaves that I make the kombucha with, the volume of the funnel is impressive too, it can hold a lot of liquid in it. Did find though that it can create a seal between the mouth of a bottle and the outer part of the funnel which means having to lift it slightly to get the flow of liquid to increase. Very easy clean, good quality stainless steel. excellent product.

Didn’t get the removable disc and the funnel tube a bit wide so no use for slimmer holes. Well made steel otherwise.

Bought as an addition to a similar filter funnel of another brand purchased some time ago. This has a coarser, 2mm grating, within the removable filter whereas the other has a system of many much smaller holes which are more easily clogged. This will allow the coarser particles to be filtered on a first pass, allow the finer ones through to be removed by a second pass through the finer grating of the other funnel and hopefully reduce the likelihood of clogging. Although the filter is removable, it has a tightly sprung hold on the spout but the small knob on its upper surface has no texturing to provide a grip; it can be quiter tight when new but will hopefully slacken with repeated use. It can be rinsed clean quite easily in warm, running water but a small bottle brush may be useful to clear any residues clinging to the spout. It has been used for some taks, but with the filter removed, simply to aid transfer between containers rather than to filter.
