Great sound quality and build
I bought this for Skype meetings while working at home, finding wired headsets a bit too restrictive. It's a nicely built unit, feeling robust and whilst light, it has enough mass to avoid sliding around your desk, helped by the soft rubbery pad underneath. The USB cable (full size usb-a connector one end, permanently attached at the other) simply coils around the base, with no arresting mechanism to keep it fixed. Operation is simple and my W10 laptop had no difficulty recognising the device and configuring itself for use. Speaker quality is excellent, clear and loud enough to fill a small office. Voice quality is reportedly good, although some people have mentioned that I sound a touch echo-y. Touch controls all work perfectly and Bluetooth pairing to my phone was also straightforward, with sound quality as good as via the wired connection. It can still handle Bluetooth calls while wired to a laptop (provided it's not already in use). Only improvement I'd like to see is having the mute button illuminated when in use. The red LEDs around the speaker give a clear indication of when you're muted, but it can be tricky to spot the mute button itself when trying to unmute during a meeting - having an illuminated symbol to aim at would make this easier. I've only used it while wired into either my laptop or docking station for power, so can't comment on the battery life. Overall I'm very pleased and would certainly recommend to others.

Great for lockdown homeworking
Headsets get tiring after a while, often hot with wireless having the minor but overtime annoyance of recharge. This plugs into the USB port and is a fire and forget device. Sounds is nice and clear for voice, microphone works well. Nice to have the convenience of a mute button and volume controls on the device itself. It works well on my Mac, not tried it with my phone though again it will prove convenient I am sure. Doubt it will ever leave the study but nice to know if I don't want to take it on a work trip I can. I've been using it with Zoom predominantly, I am sure it works well other services too.

Great comms
Bought this to replace one I had to hand back to previous employer. This is newer, improved functionality including Bluetooth. Great sound and mic quality, as do a lot of Teams calls and perfect for that and conference calls. East set up.

Very nice conference speaker with a couple of issues...
I've just started a new job and only spend 1 day a week in the office, so I needed a conference type speaker for when I'm in video meetings at home. A friend who was in a similar situation recommended this to me. He was right...it's a really good little unit. Personally, I think it's massively overpriced, but my company were paying so it wasn't a factor. If I was having to buy this myself, I'd certainly think twice about it (even if I already knew how good it was). I mean, almost £80 for a Bluetooth speaker/mic? There's no denying that the sound quality is excellent, and I never have issues where other people on my calls indicate that they can't hear me or that my audio is distorted in any way. It has a decent length USB cable for when it's being charged, and when it's in use the cable neatly wraps around the base. Once charged, the battery lasts me a several hours of audio...certainly long enough for an entire day of Zoom meetings. There are a couple of things I don't like about it... Around the rim are several touch buttons (i.e. not actual buttons) for volume control, hang-up call, etc., and MUTE is at the top (the 12 position on a clock), which I found a bit awkward to use and felt would be better placed at the bottom along with the other more important controls. The POWER button is at the bottom of the unit (clock position 6) but that doesn't get used anywhere near as often as MUTE, so my feeling is that the power and mute buttons would be better with their respective locations swapped. The other thing I don't like is the low volume. There are 12 possible volume increments but I have to have it on at least 7 to be able to hear things comfortably. Sometimes, depending on how much background noise there is (and I'm talking about ambient noise, not somebody drilling or planes taking off), I find myself needing to turn it up to at least 10. This might be an iOS issue because I'm using it with an iPad, the friend who recommended it to me is also using it with an Apple device and he too finds the volume to be low. Not really a deal breaker, but I'd have expected it to have more 'oomph' for the price. Overall, if you want a very good conference speaker/mic and the price isn't an issue, this should definitely be on your list.

Great little device to protect your hearing
Bought as a home office audio conferencing unit for the seemingly endless work Zoom meetings during the Covid-19 lockdown. Great little unit which connects either via Bluetooth or via USB to your computer. Pretty much plug & play with an intuitive design and touch sensitive mute, volume, battery etc buttons. Sound quality is pretty good and able to handle people speaking at different volumes. I got this to avoid deafening myself with my traditional headphones as I had to have the volume really high to hear the quiet contributors but then my ears got blasted by other participants who had better audio quality or were closer to their microphone. This little device admirably removes that issue so for me and at £93 is a very worthwhile investment to protect my hearing.

Portable Perfect!
Only just had this product for a week and already used it and used it and used it...!! Super product. From a PC/ MAC perspective it was a simple plug and go. Neither gave any issues and connection was almost instant. Seriously easy to connect your mobile to it....very intuitive but simple. The sound quality, clarity and volume abilities are just excellent. It's well built, sturdy and comes with it's cheeky little soft, zipped cover to keep it from damage in transit. One of the best parts for me? The voice prompts. Unexpected and yet so valuable. Just to hear it say: 'connected to mobile device'.... you don't have to go search for some sign that you managed to connect to your phone. Love it!!!!!

So I've had this for about 3 months now and I have to say what a bloody awesome job Jabra have done. This device definitely continues to maintain their reputation for well designed and manufactured products. Aesthetically: this is a great little unit: nice and compact with minimal and very clear symbols that are self-explanatory as to their function. And the touch-sensitive symbols work really well - Jabra have managed to get the perfect balance of not requiring too much pressure but needing more than a fly or accidental brush so there's very little chance of accidentally killing a call mid-conference. Usability: I use this with a Windows Surface Pro (mach 1), Nokia Lumia 930 mobile phone and an iPad Mini 3. Pairing is as simple as it should be. - once that is done, life gets even more simple: just turn it on and within seconds it's connected with a clear voice confirmation that removes any doubt. Similarly when you power off there's a voice confirmation of "disconnected." The little pouch that it comes with is handy. I chuck the speaker in my bag and it gets lugged around from customer site to customer site, often with a loving lob onto the car's back seat or boot. While the pouch is starting to fade through wear, it does a good job of stopping the speaker from get scratched :) Battery life hasn't been a problem. I haven't actually measured it because ... well, I haven't needed to! I probably only use this for about 6 hours / week and generally remember my ABCs (Always Be Charging). The longest I've used it for a conference call would be an hour and a half and the longest time in between uses would be about 3 weeks (over Christmas / New Year break) and the battery didn't lose its charge. Something that I hadn't picked up on in the marketing bumf is that when plugged in via USB to my Windows Surface Pro, it still works with my mobile via Bluetooth. From the product info I thought that plugging in via USB over-rode / disengaged the Bluetooth so this is a pleasant surprise. All up - I'm really impressed with this. Would I use it for beach or social use? Probably not - but for this contract project manager who needs simplicity, reliability, good sound quality and solid build quality, this is handsdown a winner. And no - I have no affiliation whatsoever with Jabra or any other tech manufacturer so this is a completely unbiased review.
