Gigantic book about a giant
I know diddly about fashion but always loved McQueen for the artist and showman he was, this is one of the best book purchases I've ever made. Made with care, even the skull hologram cover is uber cool, allowing you to study all the nuances on every page. Be warned this book is HUGE..... you're gonna need a bigger shelf

Absolutely love this book! Bought it for a coffee table book & didn’t think it would be as heavy, big or such good quality! Its amazing i love the hologram on the front its really different & looks great very different to any other coffee table book i have its perfect!

Inspiring book to treasure
Incredible book and a real treasure. This honours the journey of the much missed, unique and beloved designer With a stunning collection of crystal clear colour photographs and excerpts of McQueens own creative thought process. One of the best coffee table/inspiration/resource books out there. Plus the holographic cover is amazing !

Terrific for students of fashion.
The lenticular cover of a portrait of Alexander McQueen changing by degree into a skull is a stunning piece of book design. This is the book that was produced for the Metropolitan Museum of Art exhibition in New York. Clothes are shown on lifeless white painted manequins and mostly photographed in black and white. In a way it is a pity that this book wasn’t expanded and re-edited to include the changes which were made for the”Savage Beauty’ exhibition at the V&A London. It would have been good to see working notes or drawings of how the designs started out. Terrifuc book for students of fashion.

Stunning book
This is a stunning book showcasing some of Alexander McQueen’s most iconic works. The photography and art direction is gorgeous with plenty of full-page photographs, and the accompanying information about his work was very interesting to read. This will be a much-treasured book to have on my shelf!

Ho avuto la fortuna di trovarlo usato qui venduto da Amazon in condizioni veramente ottime. Parlando del libro io lo consiglio vivamente: ottime stampe, colori e materiali. Un bel prodotto anche a livello estetico e visivo. Racchiude alcuni capi del genio McQueen, e anche alcune interviste scritte alla Burton. Interessante anche l’introduzione. Affascinante la copertina. Il libro è anche abbastanza grande come dimensione. In fine posso dire che non mi ha deluso affatto questo libro.

A great tribute to the legendary genius himself! Great display of all his work, with neatly laid out pictures. Now please release a DVD of all the McQueen runway shows, along with interviews!
