608ZZ ABEC-5 Double Metal Skateboard scooter roller blade ball wheels bearings 8mm set 10pcs

I bought these to replace rusted bearings on a child's scooter. Getting the thing apart to access the bearings was an exercise in patience but once I got there, dropping these in was a straightforward, no-issue replacement. The ABEC scale measures tolerance in bearings. The highest-quality ABEC-9 bearings are intended for aeronautical or medical applications, whereas lower quality ABEC-1 or ABEC-3 bearings are fine for scooters, skateboards, and the like. These are rated ABEC-5, so possibly overkill for the application, but they weren't expensive. I haven't measured the actual tolerances, but they work just fine.

Perfect for using with skateboards - have had no rotational issues so far.

I don't know how robust these bearings are because like a previous reviewer I am using them for 3D prints I did have to soak them in Acetone and 'refill' with PTFE to get them to rotate freely. Just about to order some more!
