Hope this helps **Q: How thick is the rachet head?** A: This set is smaller than I thought and the head is around 8mm thick but well made and seems robust. I’ve used regularly for last year and no problems **Q: What length is the ratchet handle?** A: I'll post a photo of it but the ratchet is just under 9cm. It really is the most useful and well made bit of kit I've bought in a while. I borrowed one to start with then used the Amazon app to find me one from its bar code. Love it! **Q: I can't figure out how to release the universal bit holder from the ratchet?** A: They just pull apart.
