Solid Power Supply - Great Value for Money
I feel I have already gotten more than my moneys worth with this product and can can wholly recommend it at this price (Bought at £33, June '19 - Currently £50 and still advocate). The EVGA W1 600W Offers: 2 x 6+2 VGA/PCIE plugs, 2 x 3 SATA power ribbons, 1 x 3 Molex + floppy, along with 4+4 Pin and 20+4 Pin Power. I purchased this 600W power supply a year ago when my EVGA 650G died, after 4 years of service. While this power supply is a lower wattage than my previous one (a 650W Gold), I have yet to experience any crashes or blue screens due to missing power. This PSU comes with a 3 year warranty - pretty meh, but for the price i cant complain if I need to replace it after that period. While this Power supply is non modular, its low profile made it easy to install with space to stuff the extra cables if needed. After the initial setup I haven't needed to touch it since. I had some trouble fitting the CPU power in my case as it was a tight squeeze and the two halves were difficult to lock into place on my motherboard. While not holding a bronze 80+ rating it is still incredibly good and quiet under load. This power supply is barely audible ticking by despite not having an eco mode. While I don't have inline power readers to measure the power usage of my system, using software including GPU-z and HWMonitor i gauge my PC uses around 460-500W of Power under load. When I found this power supply, i was surprised by just how small it was - just an inch or so off made a huge difference in my case.An advantage in my case is the shorter size has let me properly fit another intake fan on the bottom of my PC tower (that was previously wedged in between the old PSU hard drive cage). [Fractal Design Define R4]. The cables are braided, though that doesn't cover the fact that they are a spaghetti rainbow! Chiefly the 24 Pin and 6+2 Pin for the GPU which brandish their red and yellow veins rather prominently. With some clever cable management, I imagine it is possible to minimise the eye sore of the motherboard power cable. Personally I am uncomfortable bending these wires into a tight turn to get them hidden behind the motherboard tray. (I feel like a salesperson after writing this review, but I am honestly shocked at how much this little £40 PSU has to offer - when my 650G died, i searched for a while before landing on 3 options; one of which was this and I feel it has been well worth)

Great Value For A Quality PSU
As any PC builder will tell you, NEVER buy a CHEAP PSU, it can be a very expensive mistake! EVGA is a big name in the PC world, supplying Power Supplies and Graphics cards mainly so they are a name you can trust! They have a first class warranty (should you ever need it) and their customer service is excellent. The PSU delivers the power it says it will, quietly and efficiently and of course reliably! The connections are vast, 8 pin CPU, 24 PIN, PCIe for your GPU (2 of them) as well as a couple of molex and a wealth of Sata plugs too! Build quality is perfect, there is a definite weight to the PSU and the fan is hardly audible! 500w was all i needed but there are smaller wattages available as well as larger ones! Its standard ATX size so in a desktop case its a standard replacement of the old unit, unplug all cables from PSU that connect to the motherboard and devices, undo 4 screws at the back but make sure you check your case hasnt got a retaining clip inside (Dell and HP are amongst the culprits here) remove, slot in the new one, tighten 4 screws then re insert all the plugs you require! Power on and job done!! If my review helped, please hit the Helped button!

Its a power supply
What can I say, its a power supply. The cables are a decent length, decently stable as its been running non stop for over 2 years in my server. Fan is nice and quiet, cant say much else apart from it works.

Works so far, lets see how long it lasts?
Works so far, lets see how long it lasts? As a cheap alternative to PSU, this is a good option. I was worried that I made a mistake not going for an 80+ Bronze as a minimum with any build, however, EVGA has not disappointed me so far. It had all the cables I required for my build. it was laid out logically. The cables were neither too short or too short for me. I used it in an MATX build. It seems to be stable when have applied overclocks to both my GPU and CPU. Therefore, I have nowhere to fault it. Good for the price. I needed a 600W at minimum my only alternatives at the time were this and a pricey Corsair 600W 80+ Bronze. I took the gamble and I hope to buy again from EVGA, if this lasts for minimum of 3 years.

Seems good to me
After my evga 850 gq psu blew up taking my hard disk with it, I decided to get this one. Even thought he 850 had a eco mode I never used it. This 600 W1 has enough power for my PC and it's very quiet, my cases' internal fans make more noise than it. It has lots of cables for all your power needs. Like most I'm using M2 cards for storage now so more power cables than I need. In this way it's a shame all PSU are not modular so we can have less cables inside, just what we need. The modular PSU were twice the price though. Even though the PSU can handle 600 watts, my current power consumption, with geForce video card, 2 case fans and 2 monitors is just 140 watts. This PSU is working well, with a 2yr warranty hopefully it'll last.

Quiet - Decent Price
As I was building a new PC naturally I needed a new power supply and of course since my last build things have moved on including the cost which, for a name brand power supply is quite a bit more than the last time I did a build. Thus I searched high and low with the main emphasis being on high quality and a name brand to go with it. I'm not into rebuilding computers all the time like some people. I arrived at this which appears to have the right balance of power, price, quality and sound level for my needs. First off this is not a modular unit which many people want despite the far higher price. As the PC I built was going in a desktop unit for doing Photoshop tasks not playing games with a PC lit up like Blackpool in winter I was not bothered about reducing the wiring loom. I simply cable tied off the unused supplies and put them to one side. In use it's silent. I mean really, really quiet. I can hardly hear it going even when I put my ear to the PC case. Happy wife and a big tick in the box marked 'VG.' Power is plenty for my PC. In fact a bit more than I need which, helps keep things cool and under control. I'm not one for pushing the limits as I prefer reliability over absolute performance. Build quality appears to be excellent with solid feel to this supply. Unless I'm unlucky I expect long service from this bit of kit. Overall, a quality item at tolerable price.

Reliable and Straightforward Power Supply
I’ve been using this 600W power supply, and it works exactly as intended. It’s straightforward to install, provides consistent power, and has been running without any issues. While it's 80+ White rated, it’s not the most energy-efficient compared to higher-tier models, but for the price, it does the job well. Perfect if you need a budget-friendly option that just works without any hassle.

Value for money with reliability thrown in.
For a relatively small PSU this unit is still running well after many months of intense gaming for several hours every day, it is pushing a high end video card with twin fans, 2 SSD's and 2 HDD's, 4 RGB fans and several strips, added PCI's and a liquid cooling system, it doesn't even get near its upper temp range, the fan is quiet, the cabling is good quality and the whole unit is good value for money in my opinion. highly recommend.
