Ordered This for my girlfriend for Christmas, she absolutely loved it. The map comes in pieces and has a sticker on the back which you peel away to access the sticky side. We decided to mount it in a frame which looks great on the wall. The pieces do have some weak spots due to how thin they can be (Florida in particular) but as long as you're careful there shouldn't be any breakages. Assembly is just a case of looking at the map on the box and judging it a bit by eye but it's simple enough. Comes with some pins aswell. A great addition to the wall.

I’m so pleased with how this looks stuck on the wall! A lot of the reviews mentioned pieces falling down, but that hasn’t happened at all to mine. We stuck it up months ago and it hasn’t budged at all. I also bought a Polaroid printer and pins with countries maps on as a gift set and it was well received. As mentioned Iceland isn’t included on the map, but it’s not the end of the world. This is a fantastic gift (and really good value) for anyone who loves documenting their travels. And, without fail is always complimented by my guests. The only thing I need to do is travel out of Europe more often so I can fill the map with pictures!

Great item, great idea and great delivery. Packaged well to preserve the details. Points to consider when purchasing: (1) Doesn't have guidance on location of the pieces (could include full-sized semi-transparent image on location of the pieces), so if you want accuracy you might work a while. But if that's not import then it's good. (2) Doesn't stick well to some surfaces (e.g. raw canvas). Additional glue was required. (Could include some instructions on how to glue to different surfaces that are not completely flat, or some tips on how to improve the surface (e.g. painting the canvas with acrylic paint first) or tips for which additional glues can be used to ensure good result) Either than that it is a really great product! Looks amazing and easy to come around with. I love it!!!

It's something quirky, unique and different, and looks really eye catching, even against a plain white wall. It can be made really personal, so it makes for an exciting gift! lovely quality too! The Russia part comes in 2 pieces, but you can stick it up without a gap and it still looks good!

One of the pictures on the website shows a very detailed map with sharp features - I was very much looking forward to getting such a fine map. The one I finally got had very plain features and with some of the countries/islands I had to guess very hard as to what it could represent. And then the continent of Europe and Asia was cut in half - as it was not shown on the pictures. Putting the two pieces together leaves a not very nice shadow between the two. So I was disappointed and felt a bit cheated. I still decided though to put the map up on the wall. And I must say: It looks great! Until the next day when Asia and Europe fell down and some parts nearly broke off... So I had to glue all the continents onto the wall. Now they stick and I can actually enjoy looking at it.

Having read the reviews before buying, I could see there was a problem with this falling off the wall. This is true, it does - luckily for me most of mine stays stuck (only the South America piece occasionally falls off of mine). I will be securing the whole thing with nails though so it wont be a problem. Others noted that there is no cork to represent Iceland... I made my own with the additional block of cork included in the box. Overall, I like it a lot :) It looks great.

Stuck this on the wall above my desk and by the next morning at least 3 pieces had fallen off. 2 pieces stuck to objects on the desk and was not possible to take off without breaking the cork. So now part of Europe is missing and everyday at least 1 or 2 parts falls off. Getting fed up of sticking it back on. Very disappointing as it looks really good on the wall.

I really love the idea of this as it allows me to remember all the great places I've been to and the places I'd like to go to in the future. Unfortunately it just isn't built for purpose; the cork board is really thin and the glue isn't up to the job. Within a few days countries started falling! We relented and stuck the countries back up but they started breaking on impact with the floor. Pretty disappointed really as this could be a great product.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Korklandkarte. Klebt sehr gut, kam pünktlich, unversehrt & sieht toll aus :) würde sie immer wieder bestellen!

J’ai acheté le planisphère malgré les mauvais commentaires mais en version noir ardoise. La couche de peinture étant bien épaisse, le produit est plus rigide et ne s’est pas cassé. L’adhésif colle bien mais j’ai quand même mis de l’ipafix pour un meilleur maintien. Très joli rendu !

Ich bin total zufrieden. Weltkarte ist selbstklebend und klebt an meiner Wand. Ich weiß zwar nicht, wie ich die ab bekommen soll ohne dass die Tapete beschädigt wird, aber sie soll ja auch hängen bleiben und nicht direkt abgemacht werden. Bin begeistert und kann sie nur empfehlen!

I wish I could give this one star. I made the mistake of buying two. Do not even buy one! The stickers are poor quality and do not stick to any surface I have learned the hard way. The map is also not very accurate. What a shame! I would like a refund for this poor quality kit.
