A 6 star product.
This is the best bag I've had and I've had a few. It's key benefit is that it fits my Dahon MU XL folding bike. To me getting the bike in and out of the bag as easily as possible is the most important aspect of a soft carry bag. My critical dimension is width which can be 35+cm depending how the handlebars fold over. Other bags stretch and strain to cover the bike whereas this slides over it - not effortlessly but a lot more smoothly. The other advantage is it's rubber feet on the base which gives it more stability allowing it to be opened up fully and flat on the ground so that the bike can be dropped into it with little effort. You still need to pull up the bag a little to finally close the zip but it is a king compared to others. The quality is superb with strong nylon and click-in straps including one to keep the bag tight and compact. Factor in the price and this is a 6 star product..

Miracle bag
We take our boat along the Dutch lakes and sometimes we have to go back by bus and train to get our car from a different place. Therefore I needed something to bag my 16kg steel frame folding bike. I studied the different bags & reviews and bought the 20" Outeredge bag. I am suprised by the good quality and the strong material for such a low price. The handles are not the best designed (to long) part of the bag, but the shoulderstrap is strong enough to carry the bike. The bag has 5 extra straps on the outside (2x bottom 1x front 1x back 1x top) to tighten the bag and to keep the bike folded together. This works like a dream, it makes the bag and bike to a nice solid compact unit.

Good bag, but you need to make a cardboard liner to protect it.
This is a very nice bag but..... I got two of these for our two folding bikes. The material is quite strong and the zips seem to be up to the task. The problem is that the bag busters and the transport companies don't show any respect for our luggage. So, one of the bags got a couple of cuts where the bike frame was scraped against the material the first time it was checked in. So, I got a couple of large sheets of cardboard and made liners for the bags. Two pieces, one that goes in the bottom of the bag and comes up the sides and the other that goes over the top and down at the ends. This arrangement keeps the metal of the bike away from the material of the bag and I have had no problems since. You won't need this if you are only ever handling the bag/bike yourself, but do it before you let any of the "professional baggage handlers" anywhere near your stuff.

Outeredge 20" Folding Bike Bag
I could not believe how quickly this bag arrived, and on Free Delivery too. I have recently purchased two Raleigh Folding Bikes for me and my wife to take some exercise in our retirement, and ordered just one of these bags to check out the quality and ease of use. The design is brilliant, with the main big bag folding up into the smaller attached bag. When you have the bike in the bag you can place your helmet, lock and tools etc. in the small attached bag. Another significant benefit to using this bag is that it protects your car boot from damage from pedals and break leavers etc. The Bag opens flat, so you simply fully open it, stand the bike on the fully opened bag and simply zip it up from both sides, it couldn't b e easier. Really good value for money. Now that I have checked out its quality I'm about to order another for the other bike. Don't hesitate on this product just order it.

the bag would be fine as a storage bag or occasional use
I did use it for daily commute, the bag would be fine as a storage bag or occasional use. I purchased this for a Dahon mu which is only 11Kg. Unfortunately with in a year it had several holes, I taped the first ones but eventually too many appeared. The inside lining has mostly flaked away and the straps had to be repaired, I used super glue and this lasted fine rather than sewing them back on. I have given up with it and use a dahon bag now.

Fits a 26 inch wheel folding bike!
By breaking down my 26 inch wheel Dahon Cadenza folding bike (remove wheels, seat and post, handle bars, wheel skewers, right peddle and mudguards) I managed to fit it in to this bag and fully zip it up (with a bit of effort). The Dahon has a rear rack which I did not need to remove. The length of the final package is 85cm which means I can take it on Eurostar as normal luggage. I ordered another bag for my partner's Brompton and when we travel together on Eurostar I will put one of my Dahon's wheels in with her Brompton to make zipping the Dahon bag easier. There is room for clothes etc. in the Dahon bag and even more room in the Brompton bag. Carrying the bagged bike a short distance is no problem using the hand or shoulder straps. Bag quality is fine although I would not use it when flying as there isn't much padding. PS if you just want a storage bag for a Brompton a Dimpa bag from Ikea is about ยฃ4 but it is transparent.

Excellent well made storage bag.
A really well constructed bag. It has carry handles and an adjustable shoulder strap. It unzips round 3/4 of its edge to allow for easy insertion of the bike. We bought two of these bags for two 20" fold up bike that we bought from Go Outdoors on one of their special offers. The bikes fit perfectly. The bag has an inner rubberised lining for extra protection and weatherproofing. These are quality bags at a very reasonable price.
