Cooler Master Hyper 103 CPU Air Cooler '3 Heatpipes, 1x 92mm PWM Fan, 4-Pin Connector' RR-H103-22PB-R1

The Cooler Master Hyper 103 is a great, cheap CPU Fan. Priced at £19.99 (Purchased from Amazon Prime NOW app) it actually cools down my AMD Athlon 860K clocked at 4.3GHz as good as a Corsair Hydro Unit. First the CM Hyper 103 says it needs 158.5mm space to install, my PC case, an AEROCOOL VS-1 says I can only fit 155mm. I managed to fit this into my case with a lot of room left over, barely even near the PC case side. My temperatures on stock Athlon cooler were 48C Idle. I am now getting 22C Idle on this. Temperatures while gaming, FFXIV Ultra are stable at 33C using the CM Hyper 103. Stock temperatures were 65C while gaming. I think its fair to say this is a brilliant product. Make sure it fits into your case and also the Blue LED is pretty amazing. As for noise, I can't give specifics but it is noticable MUCH quieter than Athlon stock cooler. I can barely even hear this Cooler. Installation was super easy, took me 8 Minutes. You can find guides on Youtube for it but all screws and brackets are provided. Thermal paste tube is included! I have had this Hyper 103 Cooler for about 4-5 years now. So to begin by saying it has been very reliable and build quality is excellent, since the Hyper 103 cooler is working as well as the first day I started using it. One thing to note that this is a fairly well sized heatsink/Cooler and will need a case that can handle this sized cooler, not only for size but also to allow for access to the 4 screws. The heatsink base is a aluminium base with the copper piping directly exposed to the CPU for effecient heat transfer, one note is that the base is not glass smooth, this however has not had any notice negative effect. I bought this since I do not run my CPU's at stock, I never have. I have overclocked an FX-6300 and FX-8320 with this CM Hypewr 103 Cooler and it has handled the temperatures very well. The Cooler has had no problems with the FX-6300 even nudging the CPU over the 4Ghz mark. Now the FX-8320 runs a fair bit hotter once over 4Ghz and during a torture test the CPU is maintained at around 58C. Average daily running on the FX-8320 is between 25-30C and under gaming load it reaches around 40C. Due to this effecient heat dissipation the Cooler will generally run very quietly. The point is this is an excellent Cooler for its price, unless you plan on seriously pushing you CPU to the edge this will more than handle you CPU heat.

When this cooler arrived the first thing a did was give the instructions a once over. Then i proceeded to check the contents, everything was there EXCEPT one screw. After looking over the instructions a little longer i realised that the missing screw was in fact a tool used to tighten up the nuts on the underside of the motherboard. You do NOT need this tool (you can simple use a socket and finger tighten the nuts). And I'm guessing they decided to remove it to cut cost, but they should have also reprinted the contents to reflect this. The cooler itself is very good once fitted and didn't take too long to install. My CPU temps have dropped a lot compared to the stock AMD cooler i had before, although the fan is a little loud at 100%. Would recommend downloading a program such as speed fan to lower it to 90% when idling as it become's a lot quieter.

This is amazing and one of my best investments, I did have an "ARCTIC Alpine 11 Pro Rev.2" but it wasn't giving me any satisfaction, I was getting around 40-50 on idle and up to high 80-90's when gaming.. I ordered this straight away, and I'm now getting around 23 when simply browsing and watching movies and around 39-43 when gaming on Ultra on high demanding games, I've not even seen it hit high 40's or over yet. It's always around 800rpm so it's pretty quite. It's a large cooler so make sure you check things before you order, I believe it's around 158mm from the bottom to the top. I have loads of room left using the Corsair 100r Case. The blue led is a nice touch, with it was an RGB or even an option to turn it off, but i'll be investing in blue corsair LED fans to match the theme now. I'd high recommend this if your a gamer or simply a browser, it'll keep your pc cold and running quite, remember if your pc hasn't got a big enough back plate cut out you will have to remove your motherboard to install the cooler mount, be careful doing this. A lot of tutorials are on YouTube if you get stuck and don't have interest reading instructions.

So far so good. Replaced my older water cooler with this as I wanted a cleaner look in a new Lian-Li pc-90 case (couldn't stand the rigid pipes from the W/C). I must say it looks great and temperatures are hardly any different (25 on idle). I'm not an overclocker so couldn't comment on it's use for that, but aesthetically it's clean and nice solid piece of kit! Absolutely no problems for £20!! Definitely worth it, I wouldn't say it's massive either, just bigger than any stock cooler.

A very good CPU fan. Replaced my stock cpu fan and it has made a world of difference. Used to run at temps of 90oC when under heavy load but this has been reduced to around 60oC. idle temps run around 30oC for me. Very quiet on idle and some noise under very heavy load but a lot quieter than my stock fan which was comparable to a turbine engine under heavy load!! I did initially look at the coolermaster 212 but its large size would not fit in my case, which is on the smaller size. This cooler is great for smaller size cases thanks to its shorter length (shorter than the 212 by about 2-3cm). Installation was very easy although the instructions could have a been a little clearer about needed to rear mount on the other side of the motherboard (first time installing a aftermarket cooler so wasn't sure i had to do this) but after that it was a breeze to finish up.

Really great value. Used it to replace a sealed water cooling unit which failed. Temperature under load easily as good as the old unit. All fixings come in the box. Very easy swap out on my intel 2011 motherboard. Took ten minutes. All done.

Nice fan love the Leds keeps my computer very cool. But it can only be installed to face either side in my case which isn't ideal but that's my own fault

iGPUを使用するようになったことと、メモリーをXMPオーバークロックしていることから、リテールのクーラーからこちらのクーラーに。 アイドリング時はファン回転も低いので、ＣＰＵ温度は３５度前後ですが、ＣＰＵ高負荷時に本領発揮！各種ベンチマークを実行しても、ＣＰＵ温度は60度前後です。リテール時は８０度を越えていたので、大満足です。 なんといっても、底面にヒートパイプが露出していて、ＣＰＵにパイプが直結する構造が効いているのだと思います。それと、同梱されているシリコングリスが銀入りだということも。この価格帯の付属品としては珍しいのではないでしょうか。おかげで、一緒に買ったシリコングリスは使わずじまいになりました。 電源オン時や最高負荷時のファン音は、私はそれほど気になりませんが、どうしても気になるという方は、ファンを T.B.Silence PWM UCTB9P に交換されてみてはいかがでしょうか。風量も42.67CFMと、オリジナル(43.1CFM)と遜色なく、最高ノイズは30dBから21dBに下がります。 再レビュー ＣＰＵのオーバークロックへの対応度を確認するため、マザーボード(ASUS P8Z77-V PRO)のＴＰＵスイッチをＯＮにし、BIOSはいじらず、Windows上でフリーソフトの「Core Temp 1.5」を起動、CPUクロックが定格の3.5GHz→4.2GHzに上がっているのを確認後、同じくフリーソフトの「Prime95」というストレステストを実施しました。 テスト時間を短くするため、負荷テスト設定をFFTs=2048Kと重くして実行。メモリの負荷も合わせてCPU負荷100%(Core Tempの負荷表示で確認)で20分稼動しましたが、まったく落ちませんでした。 念のためテスト中はCore Tempで温度チェックしていましたが、テスト開始から5分くらいで温度上昇は止まり、安定しました。テスト後にCore Tempの最大値で確認すると、ＣＰＵ最高温度はコア #2 の76度でした。後のコアは69～71度。 やっぱり、優秀なＣＰＵクーラーだと実感しました。

My Intel 8400's stock cooler used to get a little noisy at high loads and wasn't exactly doing a bang up job keeping it cool. The processor doesn't have much cooling requirements, so I decided to get an air cooler. I was going to buy the Hyper 212, but I made a quick search on Amazon for CPU coolers. That's how I came to know about this cooler's existence. It was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't even want to spend 3k the 212 costs; I just wanted a decent cooler that does the job. Temperatures: Stock cooler: 25-30 while idle. 50-55 while gaming. (Middle Earth: Shadow of War). 60-65 on stress test (CPU-Z inbuilt stress test). This cooler: 20-25 while idle. 35-40 while gaming. 40-45 on stress test! Not only that, it dropped back to idle temperatures really quick after I stopped the stress test. Almost instantly. The fan is silent, I can't even hear it because I have three case fans that are much louder. These temperatures are on a cold winter night, so you can expect up to +15 degrees in summer. Also, it will depend on your cabinet, number of fans, thermal paste, CPU itself, etc. All in all, I am very satisfied by the product, especially at this price (1880 at the time I bought it). One thing I didn't like was the thermal paste provided in the box. In one word, it's crappy. I misplaced my Arctic Silver paste I use everywhere else, so had to use the one that came with. Can't really complain because it was shipped with an entry level cooler and seems to be doing a good enough job for now. Also, there isn't an option without the blue LED. It isn't overly bright and I already have LED fans, so that's okay. If you don't prefer LEDs or want to keep a specific theme (like red or white), keep this in mind. Other products to consider in this price range: CM Hyper H410R and Deepcool Gammaxx. I am using it with an Intel 8400, so rest assured it will work with 7th and 8th gen processors.

Me decidí a comprar este producto porque mi ordenador, aún trabajando con tareas sencillas, llegaba a alcanzar los 55-60ºC. Y no sólo eso, sino que al trabajar con algún programa que hiciese trabajar más al procesador (juegos o programas de edición de vídeos por ejemplo), éste alcanzaba los 75-80ºC y, por lo general, se apagaba el ordenador. Mientras esperaba que llegase el producto, desmonté todas las piezas y con la ayuda de un pincel, fui eliminando el polvo que había en cada componente (menos el disipador de fábrica, que lo iba a cambiar por el nuevo). Una vez recibido el nuevo disipador, que es significativamente más grande que el que suelen traer de serie las CPU, lo instalé siguiendo un tutorial que encontré en YouTube. En 5 minutos estaba instalado. [b]Trae un tubito de pasta térmica.[/b] ANTES DE LIMPIAR Y CAMBIAR EL DISIPADOR ANTIGUO: - El ordenador llegaba a los 55-65ºC en tareas sencillas. - Cuando jugaba a algún juego o usaba programas como el Adobe Premier, se calentaba tanto que llegaba a apagarse el ordenador. - Hacía ruido. DESPUES DE LIMPIAR E INSTALAR EL DISIPADOR NUEVO: - [b] La temperatura a disminuido drásticamente a los 25ºC en tareas sencillas y sin pasar de los 50ºC en ningún momento mientras trabaja con videojuegos. Todo esto habiendo aumentado la frecuencia de la CPU de 3.8 GHz a 4.3 Ghz, y la del GPU (que es integrado) a modo "Extremo". Es decir, la temperatura es prácticamente la mitad que antes, habiendo ganado una media de 20 FPS en los juegos. [/b] - Menos ruido. Eso sí, como el ventilador queda mirando hacia delantera de la torre y expulsando aire hacia la parte trasera, yo cambié la orientación del ventilador que tenía en la parte trasera de la torre para que expulsara aire, en vez de meterlo dentro de la torre. Esto hace que los dos ventiladores (torre y CPU) hagan fluir el aire en una misma dirección, lo que hace que disminuyas unos cuantos grados más la temperatura dentro y impidas que entre polvo por el ventilador trasero.

Che dire, associato ad un i5-7600 e si comporta benissimo. Sotto sforzo per 10 minuti (con aida64) mantiene fissi i 51 gradi. A migliorare il tutto vi è pure il lato estetico; veramente bello da vedere a mio parere, sia per quanto riguarda la struttura che per la ventola che presenta led blu!!! Ero tentato di mettere 4 stelle per fattore rumorosità poichè la ventola in dotazione non è silenziosissima ad alti giri tuttavia questo è totalmente compensato dal basso prezzo. Complimenti Cooler Master per questo articolo!
