The Qubo ecosystem is full of over priced and low quality products. I have installed a Qubo camera doorbell, a Qubo door lock and had to buy a qubo wifi Gateway. If you have a choice stay away from qubo products all together. I will tell you why? Firstly, the qubo camera doorbell supports only AC power supply. It shuts down whenever there is a power cut and the power supply shifts to generator and back. Once it switches off and on, the camera doorbell gets disconnected from Wifi. You have to again structure with the complicated process of wifi sync. Most of the time one has to physically reset the device. The camera doorbell is next to the door lock 🔐 and both are in Bluetooth range. However both can't communicate with each other. You have to pay more and upgrade to a Pro version for this feature. The fingerprint sensor is of very poor quality, it takes multiple attempts to recognize registered fingerprints. Now if with gods grace and multiple attempts at resetting both the camera doorbell and door lock are working, and there are no power outage. You will have to pay another 3 to 4 k INR to but their wifi gateway (this product) to avail remote unlock (this feature is inbuilt in most other doorlocks at a lesser price point). The wifi gateway doesn't come with any reset button and only 1 yr warranty. In my case it only worked for first few months and the turned into a stone. If you call the customer care, they will just read out the script given to them. There is no real support available. In my case the simple response I received was to go and buy another Qubo gateway. The green LED light remains constantly on and the gateway should be switched off and on 5 times to reset ( could there be any dumber reset method ? ). I am now stuck with substandard Qubo products which are adding nuisance in my life rather than bringing peace of mind. I have to get up from office meetings to attend to all door bells and open the gate every time. The same could be done with a Rs 50 ting tong remote door bell. Why should I be paying thousands to do just the same. Qubo has no innovative bone in their product lineup, they have thrown a ton of money on brand building and marketing and now sucking from customers to make profits without delivering any real value. Please think 🤔 1000 times before getting into this product ecosystem. My gate is coming up with some amazing products which work and there are tapo and few others who are providing good value.

Starting with the product itself, QUBO offers the lowest cost in the market for fingerprint locking systems, which has helped them significantly penetrate the home security segment. This affordability was a major factor in my decision to choose QUBO over other brands. However, my experience with the service team has been mixed. Initially, I ordered the Elite model for my main door, but it had an issue with the SMS pin feature. Fortunately, the company promptly exchanged it for a new one, and the service person who handled the replacement was professional. I was satisfied with how this situation was resolved. Encouraged by this, I ordered another fingerprint lock for my bedroom. Unfortunately, this time the service experience was far from satisfactory. The first technician who came to install the lock was visibly drunk and in an unkempt state. I had to ask him to leave immediately. Later that day, another technician arrived, but he too was unkempt and seemed unprofessional. When he saw that my door already had a circular lock, he suggested leaving it with a hole after uninstalling the old lock, which was completely unacceptable. I insisted that he remove the old lock, close the hole, and install the new one correctly. He agreed to return the next day at 9 AM to complete the job but didn’t contact me until 10:30 AM, asking if he could come then, which was inconvenient for me. What really concerned me was when this technician requested that I refrain from mentioning the drunkenness of his colleague in my Amazon review. This request was highly inappropriate and made me question the professionalism and training of QUBO’s service staff. It felt as if the two technicians were colluding to cover up the incident. Given these issues, I wonder if QUBO conducts proper background checks and provides adequate training to their service personnel. If not, they risk fostering a group of technicians who, at best, appear benign but could be harmful. I strongly urge QUBO to reconsider how they share customer information with service technicians. There should be a system where customers can input map details via the company’s WhatsApp or website, eliminating the need to share personal contact information with the technicians. Lastly, the second technician I encountered even had a squint, which made the situation more uncomfortable. I believe that QUBO should ensure their service personnel are well-trained, professional, and capable of handling all aspects of the lock installation without requiring excessive contact with the customer. Overall, while the product itself is competitive and well-priced, the service experience needs significant improvement. I hope QUBO addresses these issues to maintain customer trust and satisfaction. Update : 15/03/25 The management has addressed the issue promptly and appreciate their quickness in responding to this matter.
