Sounds like false advertising to me. **Q: Is the strap adjustable?** A: Yes fully adjustable by means of little slider. Wasn't immediately obvious and thought it was too tight and unwearable. Good eye patch too. *by J***M on 10 September 2023* This is good. I get migraines that I can ease by covering one eye. I tried eye patches but the ones I tried were unconfortable, poorly made things barely suitable for a kids pirate costume. This works for sleep, it blocks the light pretty well, some gets in around the nose but it's not much, it can be messed with to make it better and I suppose it depends on the shape of your face and nose. No light comes through the fabric. That said, I mostly use it for an eye patch. I just fold one side up so I can see out of one eye. The mask is soft and flexible enough to accomodate this without damage to the mask or discomfort to me.
