You will have to use a 4G Dongle (USB WAN) and the gedundant SIM module in order to get 2x 4G connections. The PPPOE will be used for setting up a VPN I am assuming. Setting up VPN with IPSEC is supported when the other device than the Peplink is a Cisco or an Junipar, the rest of the brands are not supported. There is a chance the IPSEC VPN tunnel can work with other devices, it just isn't garanteed by Peplink. The PepVPN feature is by far the best way to set up an VPN between 2 Peplink devices. There is very little need for network knowledge to set this up. It is easy and stable, the only disadvantage is, it only works between Peplink devices. What do you excacly mean with the question if the Balance 30 LTE will work in UK networks? As far as my knowledge goes, UK networks are the same as other networks, or am I missing something?We do have customers in the UK, they also are using the Balance 30 LTE, so I am assuming this would not be any problem. **Q: Hi, not wishing to sound too simple .. i can connect and balance (pool) two wan providers, say virgin and bt, and a backup sim card?** A: That is exactly what this device is for! **Q: can i use the 2 sim cards simultaneously?** A: Dear SA,No, it isn’t possible to use 2 SIM cards at the same time. The LTE module is equiped with slot A and slot B for redundancy. One module can be active at the same time, the other SIM slot will function als a failover.
