Thanks** A: According to the instruction manual you can pick up a second handset, press the green (answer) button and join in the conversation **Q: I am a little hard of hearing and have found the volume levels on some of these phones are too low. How is the volume level on this model?** A: Could be higher.not a phone for the hard of hearing. I often struggle to hear what people are saying **Q: Does the buttons have backlight ?** A: No button back light but great system for the money. I have replaced a BT quad system which proved very disappointing. **Q: I have just bought these but the power lead from the base unit is too short for our phone socket. Can I buy a longer one?** A: I have in the past bought an extension lead for one of these leads with the little jack plug, if you cant buy one then you will need to buy a 5.5volt transformer with a lead that is long enough for your use.
