Not working with exynos s8 at mo keeps crashing. 1 star for now but could change if samsung and google get their heads together hurry up cos I wanna play eclipse.

The daydream headset is currently the only VR option for Google Pixel / Pixel XL. The quality of the experience is pretty much on par with other VR headsets such as Galaxy VR. The build quality is decent and the materials (apart from the hard plastic on the front cover and controller) are quite comfortable. The controller is surprisingly accurate when used as a pointer device.However, the Daydream VR is far from perfect. No carry case is supplied with the headset and the lenses are not adjustable (one adjusts the focus by setting the strap to the tightest setting and moving the headset around the forehead in a search for the best focus). Daydream does not work very well with cardboard-only applications so users of the daydream headset have access only to a quite limited set of content for the time being.

Cheap and easy VR
Cheap and easy to do VR solution if you have a compatible phone. I use the Google Pixel XL which provides a responsive and high quality experiance. The demo and instructions are easy to follow although I would like to have a manual included instead of having to respond to the built in instructions as they happened. The demo and tutorial is light-hearted and easy to understand. Youtube content is of varying quality but fun and the panoramas and street views a great way to explore. If you have any panoramic photos of your own do try them out, it's really fun to "be there again". Unfortunately the Google Play content is "Not available in your country" so I have not been able to evaluate that.

Good product but the only problem is you cannot adjust the focus on the headset and your phone becomes very warm after 15 to 20 mins use
