Gerber MP600 Bladeless Multi Tool

As a truck driver, it's got pretty much all I need at hand, so I've not got to get my tool box out. Everything also locks in place, so no fold backs when using.

Excellent UK legal multitool (although I wouldn't like to try taking this into an aircraft cabin) with precision engineering and easy one handed opening for the pliers. Benefit over other manufacturers is the slide to unlock the accessories and gripping the smooth side of the handle rather than the accessory side making use much easier and safer when used with cold wet hands

As an engineer I tend to fix a lot of things on the fly, so having a legal multi tool is really handy. It’s my first go at an alternative to a leatherman and so far impressed, though it hasn’t received the same amount of abuse just yet…

I have had a gerber multi tool for about 30 years on my belt for work my first one now stays at home for around the house...I have been using a leatherman oht for about 2 years now can't fault it always done what was sakes of it!!... just recieved my gerber mp 600 bladeless well....first impression are mixed not as robust and as well made as the leatherman (not biased as I use both) I have a feeling that the gerber is not going to stand as much work as the leatherman...my job is property maintenance so I need a multi tool with me all day on my belt...I cannot wear my leatherman oht out on the street because of the lock knife but the gerber I can...I think gerber could have made the pliers spring loaded ...time will tell!!

I like everything. The lack of a blade means I never have to "remember" to leave it behind. I can always carry a street legal pocket knife which 99% of the time is more than adequate and generally both more comfortable to hold and easier to deploy.

It looks handy but looks cheap. If the same item was branded "Stanley" it would command less than half the price.

This is my third MP600; first one was stolen along with the vehicle it was in, second was an Amazon Warehouse (used/good) item that had been dismantled and mechanically damaged presumably by the person who'd sent it back to Amazon, but the present one is perfect just like the first one. Ignore the bad reviews from the anti-Gerber brigade as this is military issue in the US (bladed version) so it should be tough and it is. Saved the day when my windscreen wiper retaining nut came loose during a storm and nearly lost a wiper, but tightened it easily with the Gerber. Buy now before you change your mind!

After some time of use I can say this multitool is no good ,the "jigsaw" blade constantly blocking the pliers head to slide out or get back. All the other tools very difficult to use as you need to slide pliers out ,open the handle ,then open the tool you would like and if you have to appley pressure would need to get the pliers back to prevent accidental open or close. Can keep them out and still use some of the tools but then again big possibility of accidental opening and harming yourself. Well overpriced ,for that money, few £+ you might have something far better.

As a Handy man, you've got to have one of these- The quality is there, plus its one of those slim type multitool to have.

Herramienta de gran calidad que no incluye cuchillo, por lo que para sitios donde no se permita, o para ir en avión/crucero, son perfectas. Al principio el mecanismo no iba muy suave, pero tras una semana iba como la seda. Las cuchillas de corte son adecuadas para cables medianamente gruesos y alambres, para otras cosas no son recomendables ya que son de un material muy duro pero algo frágil(carburo de tungsteno). Son reemplazables y tienen forma triangular, por lo que si un lado se daña se pueden usar por los otros dos lados. Una de las cosas que me sorprendió, ya que pensaba que no me gustaría, es la sierra que incluye. Está hecha de carburo de tungsteno, y no es afilada, es como una especie de lija/lima muy dura, y corta todo tipo de materiales El metal de la herramienta es de muy buena calidad y lleva un recubrimiento que le da un acabado muy bueno, y tras un año aún no he visto indicios de desgaste

Ottimo articolo ben costruito, essendo uno dei pochi senza lama e un multi tool adatto al trasporto giornaliero senza rischi, in quanto qualsiasi oggetto con una lama e vietato il porto senza un giustificato motivo! E neppure andare a funghetti armati per la legge Italiana è un giustificato motivo!

Salut, l’outil en lui même est excellent, on sent qu'il est robuste, mais j’ai fait face à un défaut sur la partie pince coupante, comme vous voyez sur les photos, il y a un défaut de fabriquation sur la pince, le pas de visse ne tombe pas bien en face du trou sur un côté en comparant les deux photos, aussi la profondeur des deux emplacements ne sont pas identiques . De plus j’ai acheté des lames de remplacement et en peu de temps les deux jeux se sont abîmés et cassé d’un côté, à noter que c’est toujours le côté mal ajusté qui casse et que même lors de l’utilisation de la pince seule (pas la partie coupante) les éléments en tungstènes s’abîment rapidement sur les pointes !!! J’ai payé 33 euros les lames de remplacement les frais s'arrête là. Retour!!!
