BlueDriver Bluetooth Pro OBDII Scan Tool for iPhone & Android

I have tried several similar OBDII Scan Tools and found that none of them have actually been able to read my fault codes let alone clear them. I did some independent research and found this product highly recommended as one of the best OBDII Scan Tool scanners. So not having tried one with Bluetooth before I thought i would at lease give it a go. To my surprise it found and cleared my SRS (air bag) fault. I had to download the latest updates which was very easy to do off the app, followed the good instructions and tutorials and hey presto! it worked and cleared my faults.

Do not bother buying this load of cheap crap I bought it scanned my car and it came up within 5 seconds no faults and I know for a fact my car has faults because my friend has a garage and he put it on scan on his own machines and it came up with faults. There is no way this cheap bit of tat can scan all your car's ECU's in about 5 seconds no way because my friends scanner £8,000 worth takes longer I know there's a pacific fault for my gearbox and this cheap crap never picked up the fault when they say it does the entire car. And just to rub salt into the wounds I have bought this cheap crap scanner off of tophatter for about £5 and that £5 cheap plastic crap does as much if not more as this bluedriver rubbish so it just shows you that £5 worth of crap from China can do as much as what they are selling this thing for £100 and if you have a look it actually is made in China as well it's probably the same cheap crap scanner just in a different plastic case and for that you have to spend £95 more don't waste your time! Trust me I'm mechanically minded and this is just utter rubbish just get some cheap £5 thing from China and it will do exactly the same honestly the reason why I bought this thing was says it does gearboxes it does nothing of the sort. ps the cheap £5 thing I bought on tophatter also gives more live data information from more different parts of the car and the blue driver is worse! Stay away!

Nice device, downloaded the app plugged it in and it just works, gives me nice detail about how my car is running either live on the go or just when i need it. Works perfectly in my MG TF 2002. Very easy to use and easy to understand.

I had Engine Management, ABS, Lane Assistance, stability lights coming on. Plugged in this device, I had to update its software, but didn't take long. Gave me the codes I needed to pass to a Garage. A wheel position sensor had failed.

From what I understood this product was originally designed to diognose american cars. But after trying on my British brand car I was pleasantly surpised how well it works. It cleared my ABS warning light which shouldn't have been on in the first place and it never came back on. On top of that it tells you clearly whats wrong with the car as well as allow you to view live data

This unit reads codes from engine to abs however has very little live diagnostic data. If you want see data of what you exaust sensors are doing it shows them however, if you are chasing a fault and need to see live sensor data from an abs wheel sensor, pressure sensor values etc basically what the computer is seeing so you can find a fault on your car this is useless. It is advertised as a pro tool for car diagnostics and it most certainly is NOT, you can't see any data from the cars modules which makes this tool useless if you have a fault with no fault codes set. It is basically a code reader to view set codes in the computer and search for help on fixing said code which as mentioned above is useless if you jave a module fault that has not set a code. This is not a pro diagnostic tool just an extended code reader, not worth the price if it was half the price they are asking for it it would still be too expensive and not worth it.

I've had this piece of plastic for several years now and I have to say it does absolutely nothing that any generic cheap-ass scanner does. It's geared towards the American market so is pretty useless for UK or Europe. I want to fit a new battery to my Mini cooper which has a battery monitoring system and needs to have the new battery registered via obd software to tell the vehicle the battery is new. This piece of crap claims it has the ability to do just that. Well I can tell you it doesn't even bring that option up in the menu! If you're a mini or BMW owner in the UK or Europe don't waste your money on this bloated brick unless all you want to do is see the most basic of information that any couple of quid obd from china will show (and will probably do more than this useless junk). My advice is do your research before thinking of buying this overpriced piece of junk.
