Great frisbee for dogs
Great frisbee for dogs , but would probably be fun for people too if they were afraid of getting hit or had bad hand-eye coordination. It's the perfect size for my smallish border collie. It glides well, not too fast, and she's able to snatch it out of the air. I've had a few similar to these in the past, and they tend to last quite a last, usually until they get eaten by the lawn mower or lost, so I'm not anticipating this one beng destroyed too quickly. I will update this review if my dog is able to tear this up in the next few months. Will buy this one again in a year or so when it warrants being replaced. Update: Changed review to 5 stars. I've had this things for months now and my dog plays with it frequently. it's been sitting around in my yard and sometimes my patio (when I pick it up) and shows very little signs of wear and tear. Sure, it's dirty. But it's intact, no rips or tears, the perimeter is still circular and not warped, no seams are coming undone. My dog isn't really a chewer but does run around with things in her mouth, so it sometimes sees some heavy usage. A winner.

Robust and Great-Flying Dog Disc
Looked at reviews here and saw this product as the best overall value IF you don't let your dog use it as a chew toy. So I bought two from amazon, and am still using the first one 1 month later. We use it in on grass, and it shows no signs of undue wear. It's obviously no longer in pristine condition, as our lab-mix will chomp down on it in flight (or as it hits the ground), but we are diligent about having her 'give' the disc (as opposed to playing tug-o-war to get it from her), so it is not torn and still flies like the day we bought it. The disc is light and has very little inertia, so you absolutely must throw it into the wind if you want it to fly straight and on-target. As with any flying disc, the more spin you put on it the better it flies, and in my view this one flies just as well as most hard plastic discs. I can easily (and accurately) put it 25 yards downrange in roughly the same spot if I'm careful not to send it up too high. If you do that, it will stall up high, and drop down abruptly (like any disc). I try and keep it no more than 5-7 ft off the ground and when thrown this way, it has a nice tendency to float towards the end, giving the dog ample time to catch up to it and grab it as it falls. If you are a less-experienced flying disc thrower, don't buy this and subsequently claim it doesn't fly well; it's a matter of technique. Will definitely buy more when these two fail.

It's great. He doesn't hurt his teeth
It's great. He doesn't hurt his teeth, tongue, or gums like he used to with the cheap plastic ones. The disc flies decently enough. I wish it was more durable though. It lasted us all summer before it got ragged from the weather and our golden retriever. He loves it though. Ordered a second one.

quality frisbee, but small size makes it tricky to toss
This company makes great dog frisbees that float, but I give it 3 stars because this size is more difficult to toss than the standard size. If you have a small dog, this is probably the better size for your dog, but be aware that it's more difficult to control than standard discs.

Our tiny dogs love catching these lightweight and soft discs
We have 2 Italian Greyhounds.. they're FAST but small dogs (<10 pounds!) They love playing with these little frisbees.. it's been their favorite toy for 10+ years so far. We buy a replacement every couple of years and still keep the old one around. The discs are made out of a strong nylon taffeta type fabric with a medium density foam insert for a ring. They're very tooth friendly and won't hurt your dog if it hits them in the face. They can be thrown quite far and will last a long time. The bright neon colors are nice but will fade if left out in the weather for a few seasons. After a few years of use and weather-beatings, they soften up but are still usable. I buy them here on Amazon because the pet shops want too much!

Great Way to Help Your Dog Release Pent-up Energy During the Winter Months
Purchased this for my one-year old pitbull puppy who naturally has high energy and loves to fetch and catch objects. With pitbulls, they need a constant outlet for their energy with a strong desire to work and the Floppy Disc works great with Daisy, our dog. I purchased this item due to the impending colder weather that is so characteristic of Indiana winters now. I have cerebral palsy and it is hard to exercise Daisy (taking her on walks) during the Winter months so the floppy disc is a wonderful addition to her arsenal of fetch toys. It's also easier for me to handle and toss a great distance in the backyard. The only downside I would warn a potential consumer is to always put the Floppy Disc up when you are not using it. Yes it is durable but as any dog owner knows, it can easily be chewed up. Another issue is that Daisy loves to tug at it when I try to take it from her mouth to throw it again. I've trained her to drop it before I will pick it up and throw it for her. That way, we will hopefully get more mileage out of it.

very poor quality materials
Floppydisk was originally a nearly indestructable product, made in the U S A from the very best materials. Now all of the products, Tail Spin Flyer, the very worst, sometimes lasting only a few minutes in use. This mellon style made by Floppy Disck is failing after brief use. The original Floppy Disk may be a little better, but not proven. I buy dozens of these nylon soft bite frisbees to exercise my border collies. I am searching for a better product.

Solid toy but does not float well.
Solid dog toy. Had a few uses and was not destroyed. It flies okay but not as well as other dog frisbees i have had. Main issue was i threw it into the ocean....it got swallowed by and incoming wave and never came back up. it was right on shore and it is bright. Water was calm and if it came back up i would have seen it. It never came up and now i need a new dog frisbee. When it lands on top of the water it does float but when it is pulled under it does not float...or at least not float well.
