Was a bit worried about the sentences on the cards as the ages of some of the kids playing it were 6 and 10 but they coped no problem. Would definitely say if the kid can read to a decent level they won't have any trouble reading the majority of them. Don't think any of the card are particularly funny but the reactions of the person trying to speak is side splitting, even without alcohol !!!! Over the space of a weekend we managed to use all the cards at least twice but just got a pile of paper and some pens and we wrote our own words and sentences and was just as funny. Wished this had been invented years ago and is a great addition to the family games. Beware if you have false teeth though as there is a very high chance they will end up on the floor either with you trying to speak or the laughing. Plastic mouthpieces fitted majority of family from young to old and bought extra to ensure everyone could play.
