I have just purchased this product to clean my motorbike. It's got matte paint will it damage the paint?

No it will not damage the Matt paintwork, however as an ex biker avoid using on seat, grips and foot pegs as this may result is slippery surfaces.

Is this the same as the Autoglym bodywork shampoo conditioner 1L , just a bigger bottle ?

Yes,it is. It's the best shampoo in my opinion. It's not all about lots of foam, it just gets the job done without any fuss. Enjoy washing your car!

Is it ok to use in a Nilfisk snow foamer?

It's a very good quality shampoo and as such is quite thick I'm guessing I'd you dilute it then can't imagine any problems at all .As a product I use in a bucket of warm water and have for 15 years the rust inhibiting properties certainly work .I would say yes go for it
