Simple Solution Extreme Pet Stain and Odour Remover, Enzymatic Cleaner with 3X Pro-Bacteria Cleaning Power - 945ml

Our Cat was terminally ill and had a few accidents in our living room so I ordered this spray to try and rescue our carpet. The spray doesn't really work and leaves a lingering, horrible, "masked" urine smell - it's awful. I am wondering if I should have just cleaned the carpet with soap and water instead of using this useless spray, it's almost like the spray made everything worse not better!!! I ordered two bottles because of the great reviews and now I am just left disappointed with a stinking living room :( I will give one of the bottles away and see if it works for my neighbours old cat and write another review once I found out what she thinks.

In my experience (two dogs from puppies) this product may well "sanitise" but it does NOT remove stains, and it certainly does not discourage the pup from peeing in the same area. Basically a waste of money. The only thing I have found which actually works is to soak up as much of the wee as possible, obviously the sooner the better, with a thick cloth (microfibre cloths are ace) or lots of kitchen towel, and then apply lots of cold water. If it's a fairly fresh stain, rub the cold water water in until the wee mark disappears. If it's a bit more long in the tooth, douse it in cold water and leave it to dry. Spraying with Febreeze seems to work (sometimes!) to discourage a repeat performance in the same spot.

I usually purchase the pourable stain and odour remover but thought I’d try this for a change. Having tried for a few weeks now, I don’t think it’s half as good as the pourable solution. I find that the smell isn’t as strong and it doesn’t kill the smell of urine half as well. I usually can’t smell any signs of urine after we use the other but this one starts to stink after a few days again. I thought the spray head would be fantastic but it did arrive broken, it turns whilst you’re trying to spray to the area which can make it difficult to be precise. Won’t be purchasing again - if you’re considering buying this one I’d recommended the pourable solution instead.

HUGE - HUGE CAUTION!!!! I used this after my boston terrier had been sick to clean my rug. He was in the room while I was using this to clean and he reacted terribly to this spray - he came out in hives round his face. He walked past as I was spraying the rug ( I was spraying down and he walked past the side of me - I did not spray him directly!) . We luckily reacted quickly and gave him an anti-histime and bathed him to wash off any spray. See attached images. This does say it is safe for children & animals - but I would never, never use this around my pets again. We use frebreeze & tescos own pet spray with no issues. Please note my boston terrier has never, ever had an allergic reaction like this before ever!! I have contacted the company to alert them to this - and please see my comment below to their response.

I cannot say how good or bad this is because after struggling with the poor trigger/spray mechanism I gave up. On first use the spray need to be pumped up to activate-check Next press trigger to send a fine stream of liquid onto carpet-nope Next investigate problem use two hands to activate fine mist-nope Next ask person with stronger grip to use spray nope. All that happens is that the liquid spews out the side of the screw on cap and yes, lovely soggy clean hands but still have smelly carpet! I appreciate I could decant the liquid or find another top but I didn't buy into a problem I needed to resolve one... Final insult and beware.. No returns Overall - poor bottle but who knows it could have been good, with so little liquid left it's up for debate

Didn't do a thing to get rid of the smell of cat urine, despite following directions to the letter and repeating the application three times. The scent is really articifical and overpowering, but when it clears the smell of urine is still there. Also, definitely doesn't prevent repeat marking; in my optimism that this spray would solve the problem, I failed to keep the cat away during the first application. Within five minutes of applying the spray, while the carpet was still saturated and heavily fragranced, the cat went back to it! I found bicarbonate of soda and vinegar worked for me - a lot cheaper than this spray, too! Save your money and use soda and vinegar instead.

This stuff is not as good as the labelling implies. Amazon had two attempts at sending this to us and both were a disaster. This stuff is in trigger packs and therefore packaging needs some care for putting through the post. Both parcels were leaking and the boxes falling apart. Both were rejected and sent back - note that with HDN you cannot reject at delivery so that meant facing about to find the place to take it too. Amazon insisted that they had thoroughly researched their packaging methods and it was OK. Sorry but Amazon you are wrong. These bottles should be inside plastic bags, in a box marked 'Fragile' and with a 'This Way Up Only' marking too. Anything else will leak. We recently had a different product delivered which used trigger packs and the triggers had been taped to prevent leakage.

The solution is 10/10 However the spray can leak sadly but it’s still really good I recommend anyways . It smells sooo good also

Me gusto que aunque usé mucho producto quito el olor en un 80% tuve que seguir lavando, eso sí no daña la tela, en cuanto a que evitara que mi perrito ya no marcara el lugar a mi no me funcionó a pesar de aplicarlo siguió el problema

Complément d'informations janvier 2025 Colis arrivé en bien triste état, produit quasi vidé. En faisant la réclamation contre retour du produit, Amazon a effectué une nouvelle livraison du produit en 24h. Merci Amazon Premier avis produit très efficace, je l'utilise régulièrement suite à l'urine de chien sur les supports sol, bois, tissu, moquette, plastique. le produit est très efficace car il n'y a plus d'odeur ni de trace et laisse un parfum agréable, surtout le chien ne refait pas le marquage au même endroit. je l'achète régulièrement. seul bémol bien se nettoyer les mains après usage car c'est un peu agressif sur la peau.
