Do not get the label wet though! - Exactly what I was hoping for: A large but not overly giant (11l) pan for making soup with a good solid base It has the diameter of a large sauce pan and about 2.5 times the depth, so works well on normal hobs. The base is plenty thick and sturdy. It pan isn't as thick and heavy as the commercial pans at work, but I wasn't expecting (nor needing) that. The heat distribution my fairly rubbish hob is good. The lid is fairly thin but does the job well and the handle doesn't heat up Word of warning: do not get the labels wet!: warm and peel the labels off BEFORE you wash it for first use. Lesson learnt! Overall a decent quality pan for the very good price and will absolutely stand up to everyday use at home . No regrets at all ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great and is solid *by K***F on 9 April 2022* Pleased with the size and the quality of the pan but frustratingly (as I need to use it right away) the labels attached to it are almost impossible to remove. Despite soaking and teasing away at the label on the side for 30 mins I have frustratingly made minimal progress as it is solidly stuck on and has a plastic coating which is almost impossible to remove. (See photo) In addition, the smaller paper barcode label stuck onto the base (? strange place to put this as this will be in direct contact with extreme heat) also proved to be a challenge. Overall, not well considered as these labels need to be properly removed when this pan is going to be up against high temperatures. Am hoping that all this teasing and gentle scraping at these impossible labels pays off and the pan itself performs well.
