I buy these for someone else and they use the styler every morning with steam. I know they wouldn't change from this make and model. Ideal for refreshing a loose perm or natural curls, or indeed creating new loose curls and ringlets in straight hair, and of course in dealing with bed hair. The steam shot adds extra curling ability and the pull-release is also easy to master. Looking at when I purchased the last one of these, it was 2015. So these seems to last a good 6 years if being used with steam. What breaks is the steam button at the end - the spring goes rusty and the plastic perishes. This is even with emptying the brush of water and hanging it up to let it fully drain each day after use, as well as drying off the steam push button end. But 6+ years is a good life expectancy for an item which in 2022 still costs less than £17, particularly when it is being used every day. Buy this styler first if you're in the market for one. Cheap, reliable, long lasting, easy to operate, and it really does work.

Heats up quickly. Works well, good results if used with care.I have 2. Good for travelling.

These are the curls I got on my first attempt using it. I have to say I’m very impressed was very easy to use . The curls have stayed in all day. I’m only giving it four stars because it’s got a short lead. Value for money . Would recommend .

Good quality

I am rather disappointed with this. I bought it as it was a 'trusted' named producer. This doesn't really heat up enough to be very effective. I am only using it on sections of my long fringe which is quite thin and have to use it several times for it to work.

I’m so pleased with this purchase. I don’t get along very well with curling ones as I always end up burning myself and I’m not that keen on the title curls that ones give you. It heated up very quickly and I was able to do my hair without burning either my head or my hands and it gave a really nice natural curl to my shorter hair. Would definitely recommend. The pictures show what I was able to achieve in about five minutes so it will be really handy for me in the mornings just to give my hair a bit of curl. I think it also gives very nice natural looking curls..

Faulty item. Steam function did not work & hot water dripped onto my scalp, which could be dangerous. I have returned it for a refund.

Very good styler. My hair gets soft and smooth. Unfortunately the styler gives a terrible chemical smell while heating up, your whole room stinks and what's worse, your hair smells the same and you smell it several hours around your head. Remington says it will disappear after a few times of use but I cannot bear it. So I decided to return the styler.
