L'Oreal Paris Colorista Effect Bleach Lightening Kit, 1 Application, Lightens Hair with No Brassiness, Colour: Bleach

I read mixed reviews for this bleach. Seeing it on special offer and noticing it was an oil bleach I decided to give it a go as it was much cheaper than wella's professional oil bleach. I have thick hair so usually need to buy more than one quantity of dye. I was actually dying just the under-layer of my hair but still bought 2. My dark hair had been previously bleached, then purple, then dyed dark brown and then a colour remover used to take it to mid brown...phew! I waited a week and washed furiously after the colour remover. I applied a small amount of coconut oil to my hair and mixed the colorista bleach. It was pretty easy to do but I wondered why they want people to put it in a bottle and shake it? I think many of the 'blotchy results' people may have is because it could have been mixed better in a bowl...as a hairdresser would do. I applied the bleach and covered my hair with stunning plastic tesco bag ( not included). I left for 35 minutes in total, checking every 10. I was impressed. Hair was now a golden blonde, probably level 8. I applied conditioner and waited a few days and applied colorista again for 35 minutes, checking every 10 for damage. There was no damage ( maybe because it's oil bleach AND I added a bit of coconut oil to my hair anyway. The end result was near my roots a very light blonde, which could be toned to platinum and my ends - a slightly darker blonde. This was all fine as I was going purple and dark blue. Maybe the people that don't get a good result have previously dyed and not removed it, or should use more bleach and are not saturating the hair enough. 1 pack of this bleach may do for finer shorter hair, or highlights.

I have been colouring my hair since I cut it short. I made the mistake of going blonde (one whole colour) and my roots were giving me so much trouble cause my hair is dark brown and I could see the line of demarcation too strong, so I went to basics: I used dark golden brown all over, let it sit for a week, lightened with vitamin c and shampoo and the day after I used this box to do random highlights just by looking where the curls sit. I guess I used the clouding/ ombre technique and I am so pleased with the results. I lifts really well without being too dry. The conditioner in the box is fantastic. I didn't want to rinse it as it felt luxurious. My hair of course it's a bit dry as you can see from my pics but my curl pattern has not changed and now my hair needs TLC. I really recommend this. Just follow the instructions and follow up with a toner otherwise it could be a little orange. I will buy again if I need to up in the future.

I originally bought this bleach in a shop as it was on offer. Having tried a host of different bleaches over the years I thought I’d give this one a go. I normally bleach my hair and then colour with vibrant vegetable-based semi-permanent dyes. After I had purchased I hadn’t realised this bleach contains no ammonia, which all my previous bleaches have. I then read into the reviews and was a bit dis-heartened as I thought I had wasted my money and the product wouldn’t work. The instructions were super easy to follow, and a case of adding 1,2 and 3 together and shake. It was lovely to use a bleach with no horrid smells and fumes. I didn’t even have to open the window when I used this, it was great. Coverage was good and an ample amount of mixture for my roots. I covered my hair with a plastic bag to help processing and left on for 20 minutes. I then thoroughly rinsed and applied number 4 which was the purple toner shampoo. There’s plenty of the shampoo for a couple of washes, but I stuck the whole hog on. The bleach didn’t leave my hair as dry and damaged feeling as other bleaches. My hair is a medium mouse brown with a good whack of grey in too. You can see from the before and after photos how well the bleach worked on my hair. As well as completely working on my roots, the bleach also lifted the pink completely out of my hair. I was surprised by the results as this product has some really bad reviews. But it’s my now go-to bleach and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend this product.

I don't normally write reviews but had to with this. Long time colour changer. This has to be the best home bleach I've ever used. No real smell to it, really easy to use and great result. I had red tones in my hair so fully prepared to go orange but surprised with the white blonde that I was left with. Some peachy patches, bleach worked super quick, but overall very pleased! Have added before and after pictures... maybe ignore the isolation-19 fringe cuts 😊

Bleach is very good lightens hair no burning

First time using a bleach product. Found it easy to apply but dried out my ends. It’s taken a few months for my hair to recover. Wouldn’t buy again.

I'm usually fully pink but have to bleach my roots which I'm never happy about as all the bleaches I've used so far dry out your hair or even have alot of hair break off...... THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM! First the smell. It's great no harsh smells and the conditioner smells nice too. It was a lil runny so splashed a bit but that's all. It instantly took most of the pink away (some bits of pink are always stubborn) the rinse felt nice and easy too. The picture doesn't do it justice I have bad shoulder and missed a lil on the side my fault! I'm into the day after and my hair hasn't felt this soft in ages. Smells great and had no breakage at all. I'll be using this from now on. P.s for my length of hair to do full coverage I still needed 2 bottles maybe a 3rd for any missed bits if your like me lol. Happy bleaching everyone be safe 🥰

This is really great! I don't understand the bad reviews as this product is amazing. I believe those left with patches didn't use enough product. The product is runnny and not tick at all therefore I will recommend not to be used in a bowl but in the bottle provided as it will make the application easier. Also make sure you buy 2 for mid hair length and 3 for long hair. Use a toner after to eliminate the orange...if your hair was dark before bleaching, it won't come out ice blonde! There is no smell whatsoever and not so much damage to the hair like with other products. Personally I won't use something else.

Uso questa decolorazione da tantissimi anni, ma adesso è scomparsa da tutti i negozi, continuo a comprarla su Amazon, ho i capelli abbastanza chiari e bianchi, la uso sulla ricrescita perché non mi ha mai dato fastidio, consegna puntuale.

per me ottimo prodotto, funziona bene, peccato non si trovi più nei negozi...
