I apply it straight from the shower when it's damp and in the morning after I've risen from my pit. Does have a smell but not over powering and I usually top it with Pirate Bay Rum beard balm to smooth the stragglers. Definitely buy again actually I have. ### ⭐ dissapointed! *by A***R on 4 April 2018* I bought this item after doing some research on a mens blog about what could tame my boyfriends beard seen as if he wont shave it off. This conditioner said it was like a hatd wax that would condition but also allow him to style his beard, as it is quite wiry, however upon receiving the product it was not a hard was substance but more like peanut butter. I tried popping it in the fridge and freezer to solidify it but it didnt work.
