No, you need a purpose built adapter for that.

Is this cable 12"tip to tip, or is is a 12" cable?

Tip to tip length is 14.25" . I don't know where the 12" measurement comes from, but the cable length itself (minus both connectors length) is 10.5" Hope this helps.

This is a passive adapter which simply allows an audio cable with a male 1/4in. connector to be plugged into any audio device having a 1/8in. socket. There is every reason to believe that it will work with a "Talk Box" if that device needs such an adapter.
