I wanted a brighter and more sparkling blue than the standard blues and this has a turquoise slant. The brown version of this Pelikan ink is equally good and conservatively fun. I use both inks from Pelikan on various Cross fountain pens (Peacock Fountain and Townsend Black Lacquer, using the Cross ink converter) and experienced no problems at all. The drying time may be about 10 secs on most paper surfaces and the ink flows well over my nibs. The bottles are well priced too.
