I bought this for my kids to replace a smaller wooden set that they have now grown out of. I have to say its excellent and whilst entirely made of plastic doesn't feel cheap and the bat feels substantial and heavy enough to allow you to really give the ball a good hit. The wickets are good too and it all folds up nicely in to a sturdy carry bag. What i liked about this set was that you also get bales where as some similar sets don't seem to include these (why!?!). Also i think that the price is good for this kind of quality outdoor toy - what's more important is that the kids love it too!

Good plastic kit, can play with the ball provided. It is not suitable for playing with tennis ball as the bats vibrate on striking the ball. Good for fun and crazy cricket!

My grandson is keen on cricket so I purchased this set to play with him (and other members of the family.) It's made of sturdy plastic and comes in a neat zip-up bag. The bats have a solid, satisfying feel to them. I'm not sure what they weigh but in the hand they feel more like wood than plastic. Not flimsy in the least. The two soft cricket balls have seams so the bowler can practise spinning and the stumps are solid and serviceable. (There's four stumps in all, not two sets of three, and a pair of bails.) The carry bag is made of fairly thin material but it's adequate for the purpose. Overall a good set for the garden, park or beach and value for money.

As a "cricket dad" who loves cricket, I was dissapointed when my talented lad gave up playing and sold all the gear. However, on a holiday recently, the whole family wanted to play on the beach so we bought a cheap wooden set from a local shop. We had great fun and decided to get something better for future holidays and days out. I chose this and I wasn't disapointed. It backs away in to a nice bag, it's plastic so it's very light, but it is exceedingly good quality. It is not flimsy at all. The senior size 6 bats are perfect for 12-13 upwards but because they are light, someone smaller can carry them and hold them even if they are too big for a regulation shot. As an adult, the bat is fine and tons better than the cheap stuff you buy on holiday. I can honestly say it is one of the best purchases I have made and we look forwards to hours of fun with this indestructable beach/park/crazy cricket set.

Brought the set as kids wanted something to play with when out on family trips. Used alot over the summer. Happy to report no breakages or damage to the equipment. Rest of family was very impressed.

Great quality and a sturdy build. Two bats and two balls is great. Good carry case. We are very happy with this purchase.

Keen cricketer friends were really impressed with this cricket set - the balls were a good weight to enable them to be easily hit and controlled by children (ours were aged between 7 and 9) and the two bat sizes ensured that all players could enjoy the game. Overall the product is well packaged in a carry bag, very sturdy, without being heavy to carry and gives the impression that is will made and last.

Les 2 battes sont en plastiques et fragiles pour les balles vendues dans le lot. J'utilise donc des balles de tennis mais les battes sont quand même très fragiles. Les balles fournies ne rebondissent pas du tout, je n'ai pas compris le principe des balles, inutilisables. Dommage, je m'attendais à des battes en bois et un kit jouable.
