Inside were the 4 plastic backing panels and the 2 sizes of trays. I mounted it on a 18mm backing board fixed to the wall which made screwing the backplates on easy. The trays clip into the backing plates and hold in position pretty well. It is substantial enough, made from strong plastic and good value for money. Screw holes should be 400mm centers for stud walls. This is product is 220mm centers per dingle back plate. Had to attach some timber behind to make it work.2. Spacing could be bigger between boxes. There is little room for adjustment, but at least it's not tight one against the other one.3. Not customisable. Can't put larger boxes on top for example, and can't put all small boxes on a single plate. I decided to fit a nice board up as well as I was mounting it up on plasterboard which may not have supported the weight. The board was affixed firmly to the wooden joists so was able to hold it better. The drawers are easy to use and hold quite a lot of screws etc. I only used 3 of the boards and the associated drawers. When I need to I will add that to the mix.
