Silverline Synthetic Paint Brush 50mm / 2" (367969)

I purchased the recommended brush with my paint for my outdoor furniture. The brush cleans well under the cold tap. Good value for money.

I thought this would be a cheap and cheerful throw away brush for a home diy project.But after I had finished, I cleaned the brush, and he had served me well for quite a few other projects, not bad for the price.

It works well - cleans well - does the job

Your 50mm/2" brush is the go-to brush for most painting tasks I've found. It's big enough to cover ground well but small enough to get into the places it needs to be. And of course like any brush they end up gunked up unless a really good cleaning regime is used which, isn't always the case if you live a normal life with a family demanding attention. I've lost count of the times I've been distracted, put a brush down and then come back later to find a solidified and useless brush. So, I buy in bulk if I'm planning on doing some house DIY/decorating and of course need to find something that's going to do a decent job and not break the bank at the same time. These are the perfect mix of quality vs price. They are well made with a good thick mass of bristles that are well formed and packed. They allow a good smooth paint finish and so far have not shed any bits once I'd prewashed them and gave them a good flex. The price is very reasonable for the performance. Highly recommended.

I bought this to apply some paint to the outside of a front door and it did the job perfectly. The biggest nightmare with paint brushes is that the bristles detach themselves from the handle and stick to what you're painting or even worse end up in the tin of paint. The synthetic bristles here seem very well attached to the handle and are made from a good material. None of them broke off or seemed likely to. The synthetic bristles are very soft to the touch and easy to clean afterwards in a bit of turpentine. After cleaning they were not all stuck together, as can sometimes be the case. All in all, not much more you can ask for from a paint brush and I would recommend.

Poor quality

Very good value, holds paint and fantastic cutting inn brush. 100% recommend. One of the best brushes I’ve had in my 40 plus years in the decorating trade.

I used the brush to paint two shed roofs with bitumen paint, hence why I wanted a cheap brush. The quality was far better than I expected. Despite the fact I was painting 'treacle' there was hardly any loss of bristles. A good buy.

Ottimo pennello per qualità/prezzo. Utilizzato per distribuire collante per fissaggio nuovo rivestimento interno tetto VW Golf . Decidí probar un cepillo de piel sintética para pintar las puertas de mi casa y no podría estar más satisfecho con los resultados. Este tipo de cepillo es perfecto para trabajos de pintura en superficies lisas como las puertas, ya que deja un acabado suave y sin marcas. El cepillo es ligero y fácil de manejar, lo que me permitió aplicar la pintura de manera uniforme sin esfuerzo. Lo que más me sorprendió fue la capacidad de la piel sintética para mantener la pintura en su lugar, evitando que se derramara o que la pintura gotease. A diferencia de otros pinceles de cerdas naturales, este no soltó fibras ni dejó rastros en la superficie, lo que resultó en un acabado mucho más limpio. El tamaño del cepillo también fue ideal para cubrir áreas grandes sin perder precisión. Al final, las puertas quedaron con un acabado profesional, sin rayas o marcas visibles, y la pintura se aplicó de manera uniforme. Además, la limpieza del cepillo fue bastante fácil; solo necesitaba enjuagarlo con agua y jabón después de usarlo. Lo recomendaría sin duda para proyectos de pintura en interiores, especialmente para quienes buscan un acabado suave y sin imperfecciones
