I would recommend this item to everyone. I do not have microwave at home, but there is one in my office, and I decide to buy this item as I do like to cook my food every day. With this steamer pouch I avoid cooking at home and re-heating at work. In 10 minutes I get incredible dishes, it is very good for fish and some meats such turkey and chicken. A few tips: Steaming vegetables will give you very good results, but there are vegetables which I find brilliant such broccoli, green beans, carrot, courgette or cauliflower. I only add a little of olive oil, salt and black pepper. Fish: I use white fish, with a slice of lemon on the top, salt and black pepper. Or buy from the supermarket chunks of salmon with sweet chilli or salmon sauce. Salmon skewers are brilliant too. Meat. I prepare bags that I freeze. Chicken + onion + dates + raisins + courgettes an cumin, and you will have a great Moroccan chicken style. (If you have a kettle, you can get a perfect cous cous as a side with it.) The recipe book will give you very good ideas. I have added some pictures of dishes cooked in my lunch break, all of them took less than 15 min.

This product is small and compact, easy to clean, the best product ever for containing the smell of fish, no bad odours at all. I wish I had bought this container months ago. Nice colour red. Very sturdy.

Ideal for cooking the veg for two people. Acts as a steamer with the inner layer inside reducing the cooking time for a slightly healthier option. Easy to clean, does what it says.

I use this for small amounts of vegetables, and it works splendidly, with a little water in the base. The size and rectangular shape are ideal for longer items, and the food is easily transferred when cooked. The flap makes it easy to close, and while it's very flexible it's also tough enough to prevent cracking or tearing.

I bought it to steam vegetables for my baby's food. It is so easy to use and convenient, I cook most of my meals with it and it is on duty every day. Vegetables taste much better than boiled and it steams fish nicely, too. Super easy to clean, washes well in the dishwasher and much better than having to deal with pots and pans and conventional steamers.

it is super easy to use, you put the ingredients you choose, put it in the microwave and voalá, that simple. A great ally in the kitchen. In 3 minutes you will have a rich and healthy meal with hardly anything. It is also easy to wash in the dishwasher or by hand. And it's super cheap !!!

Ob Fisch oder Gemüse alles wird schonen Dampf-gegart ohne dabei an Knackigkeit und Frische zu verlieren! Auch Nudeln Garen ist Möglich, doch habe dafür leider noch nicht das richtige Verhältnis Wasser- zu Nudel-menge Raus. Rezepte gibt es zum Teil wenige auf Deutsch (im Heft was beiliegt, als auch Online ein Paar), mehr auf Englisch und viele aus dem Asiatischen Raum.

Ich liebe meinen Haferflockenkuchen den ich darin in der Mikrowelle zubereite. So einfach und praktisch in der Handhabung. Auch gedünsteten Fisch und Gemüse habe ich darin schon zubereitet. In 5 Min. war alles fertig. Mein Lebensgefährte liebt es zu kochen. Der war erst sehr skeptisch. Nach dem ersten Essen jedoch, war er sehr positiv überrascht, dass das gedünstete Gemüse und der Fisch so lecker waren und nicht etwa hart oder sogar noch roh. Seitdem nutze ich auch meine Mikrowelle wieder mehr. :-) Mega klasse die Dampfbox. Die zählt zu den wichtigen Utensilien inzwischen in meiner Küche und möchte ich auch nicht mehr missen. :-)

Over the years I have purchase various items for microwave and while the work....they end up NOT being worth the space or effort. This is amazing, whether for veggies or for fish, the two items I use it for most often. It cleans easily. ALERT: this verion has no rack and when doing fish and veggies together, I prefer the version with the rack (I have two). Literally, I put two portions for frozen salmon from Costco in the case with a squeeze of lemon or lime and just a little (teaspoon?) liquid and about 2-2.5 minutes later, perfectly cooked salmon. Really. LOVE IT.

Excellent steamer for the microwave. I couldn't be without it.
