Liqui Moly 5156 Pro-Line Diesel System Cleaner 500ml

I’ve driven my Mercedes A-Class from 22,000 miles to 106,000+ and always took care of it, but recently noticed the engine felt a bit lazy, especially on cold starts. Decided to give Liqui Moly Diesel System Cleaner a try — and I’m genuinely shocked by the results. I added one full can to 20L of diesel, then did a proper long motorway run (20miles) using higher revs (2,500–3,000+ rpm) to let the cleaner work its way through. Within the first 100 miles, I noticed smoother idle, better throttle response, and a more eager pull — especially at low to mid rpm. The real kicker? My commute MPG jumped from an average of 37–42mpg up to 52.7mpg — the highest I’ve ever seen in years of driving the same route! It’s like the engine’s been freed up. This stuff clearly cleaned up the injectors and combustion system because the car feels noticeably lighter and more responsive. Will absolutely be using this every 6 months as part of regular maintenance. Highly recommended for any diesel owner — especially high mileage cars.

Well after I put it in I did pretty much immediately hear a different sound (better) from my engine so I’m assuming it’s working.

I’m amazed at how well this has worked on my car. 13 year old diesel with almost 150k miles. Smokey in the mornings when started with a lovely engine pulse for the first few minutes, warming up. I did my annual service 3 days ago and normally add a different product. By chance, found this stuff and gave it a punt. Cold start, drove less than 1km to fill the tank and added this stuff. Start the car and almost instantly i can hear and feel a difference. No chugging. Smoother drive. More power. Drove 40 miles (recommends a 2km drive after adding) and i was sure i was just making myself believe it was better. 3 days in, driving 80miles a day to work, cold start each journey and im still a little shocked how my car has changed. Really, this stuff is awesome 👏 👌

Vertrouw er op dat het een goed additief is. Mijn oude dieselmotor heeft een uitstoot die ver onder de vereiste limiet blijft. Ik ben tevreden.

Arrivato a piu di 100 mila km sentivo la macchina meno briosa di una volta, piu rumorosa al minimo, e ogni tanto soggetta a qualche singhiozzo. Oltre a questo le rigenerazioni del fap erano diventate molto piu frequenti (anche ogni 200 km), segno che la combustione non era piu perfetta. Ho comprato due lattine di questo prodotto e ci ho fatto un pieno a lattina come da istruzioni...gia dopo il primo pieno la macchina ancava meglio e ora che sono alla fine del secondo pieno posso dire che è davvero tornata come nuova a livello di prontezza e rumorosità e fumosità. ha smesso anche di rigerare il fap cosi di frequente ma è tornato a rigenerare ai soliti 450/550 km...spero solo che i vantaggi siano duraturi e che non spariscano subito. Unico difetto è il prezzo che non è per nulla economico come additivo.
