I woukd have to say this product works like a boss! For the price it is really good and effective. This grass cutter actually did a fantastic job cutting the grass in my front and back yard (tmwhich were so high). I were amazed how great it done the job! This is why I am gave this product 5 out of 5. First of all look at the price (for only £26). It is electric so make sure you have your extension cable chord and you're good to go 👍 For something like this that is so cheap and highly effective in cutting any grass (no matter how high it is), this grass cutter truly deserves the award for outstanding and effective performance.👏 I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to budget or looking for something like this which is affordable. I love this strimmer. I'm only just over five feet tall and I can use this strimmer without it feeling clumsy. It is also lightweight so I can use it with ease. It comes with quite a long lead but you may need an extension depending on the length/width of your garden. It's great value and the twine is easy to replenish when it runs out.

great product, only reason for 1 less star is due to it being suitable for short people. im 5'7 and I have to bend down to use it

Mine "Too old for a new spring >> no longer v=available". I think the new one's cable is shorter? as well! #1 The manual has nor been up-dated in line with the model >> mine a GL250. #2 On/off switch has finger spaces and not as positive as the no=space original. #3 On 1st use [now!] within one metre the cutting-line had disappeared altogether >> on straight dry grass ??? The spool is a clear improvement >> no more faffing winding cutting line!! I initially mistook 10cm for 10m >>> back to winding = not so!! Onwards!!

From the time I bought it has not worked right, I have sent numerous emails back and forth to Black and Decker and have got nowhere. I have explained the problem, supplied them with all sorts of serial numbers. Twice with proof that did purchase it from yourselves, then they wanted a vat invoice. Twice they have told me to rewind the cutting cord which makes no difference. Then they suggested I take it to a service agent. This was after I told them twice that I live on a small island in the North sea. To get to a service agent would require 2 boat journeys and an overnight n a hotel. I wish I had never wasted my money on this.

Light and easy to use for a woman

Very light weight & does the job well. It me a while to get used to doing the edging but I hot there in the end.
