Updating review based on seller experience. They reached out unsolicited to stand by their product. Easy to install. My existing cans didn’t have the same hooks inside, but it was easy enough to modify and make them fit. My only issue is these lights have a mind of their own and won’t stay off unless I cut the power. If I’m watching a movie and I ask Alexa to change the settings or turn them off, they keep popping back on at full brightness!

If you are purchasing the MATTER enabled 5/6" downlights in order to integrate them into your smart home ecosystem, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT!!! As a person that has worked in the IT field since 2006, with an emphasis in network engineering, I am telling you that these lights are absolute trash as a networked device. They absolutely refuse to connect to ANY MATTER enabled hubs, be it Apple Home, Alexa, or Google. I've even tried just adding them to the uHome+ app, and not a single one of the six even tries to connect. If all you need is a regular dumb recessed light, there are MUCH better options out there. These six lights will absolutely be going back, and I will never buy anything from this company again. I am a busy person, and don't have the free time to sit around and troubleshoot things like this for hours on end, which consequently, I did exactly that. The following information is to hopefully prevent whatever "support tech" goof from Shamico decides to give me some ridiculous canned response. I started with a 2.4&5Ghz wireless network using Band Steering. Nothing worked there, whereas other MATTER bulbs did. I then started troubleshooting my network, attempting to find ANY configuration combination might work for these lights, to include multicast adjustments and keeping everything on the the same layer 2 network. I eventually decided to dumb it down to the most basic settings and created a wireless network that was 2.4Ghz ONLY, on a clean LAN, which also failed miserably. Yes, my wireless signal is strong; I am only 10 feet from my wireless AP. The wireless network I am using is as simplified as it is possible to make it, and these paperweights don't even try to connect... Here is an even simpler version of what I just wrote: 2.4Ghz network: YES! Close to wireless AP: ABSOLUTELY Signal strength: VERY STRONG Bluetooth enabled on iPhone: DUH, but yes... Other MATTER enabled devices on network: YES, and they all work just fine, unlike this trash

The Amico 6 Pack Smart WiFi LED Recessed Lights offer a wide rainbow range of color options and are easy to control through voice assistants or smart home integration. The 5000K and 6000K white settings are bright and crisp, perfect for everyday lighting. However, the color modes aren’t as bright, and the dedicated app isn’t available on the Apple Store. Still, they integrate nicely with Apple Home—and with a Home Hub, they work quite well overall.

Worked perfect to replace my lousy builder grade can lights, while also providing full color/temperature control for holiday decorating, etc. Very easy to install, and connected easily to my existing Google Home system to control. In the attached pic, these cans are installed on my balcony and front porch with similar wifi bulbs installed in the lights over my garage doors.

These lights would always randomly blink into pairing mode which is beyond annoying.

Super easy to replace old lights with these. Have them connected to my Google programs and it’s been nice just to say to turn them on, change colors, etc. Lights can be adjusted with the brightness level too.

Cool concept, but the fact that once you turn the lights off at the switch they automatically turn into daylight mode the next time you cut them on. Other lights allow you to set the preferred temp/color when you turn them off/on. Colors are not real bright, but get the job done. I would spend the extra money on Halo or groove. Rather large disappointment. Instructions are joke. UPDATE (1/4/26): Upon writing this review, Amico reached out and offered a full refund. I was over 30 days beyond the return window. Will look for opportunities to buy from Amico again. While the product was a disappointment, huge credit to the company and they should be commended for such!

Very nice set of lights. Multi color and easy to install. Comes with the adapter piece so they fit into the deep light sockets. Multifunction with Wi-Fi connect makes them easy to use.
