I suffer from IBS and thus have a sensitivity to many of the types of proteins and carbohydrates used typical protein bars. I can't eat lactose, whey, more than a few almonds, peas (pea protein), honey, or any artificial sweeteners without getting severely uncomfortable. These, however, have none of those offending ingredients. Better still, they are DELICIOUS AND THEY HELP MY STOMACH FEEL BETTER. They are my go-to afternoon snack, carry along quick-fix on the trail or when traveling, and often a substitute for dessert. They aren't cheap; I do hope the price comes down eventually. These are by far our favorites! The taste is AMAZING (serious tastes like a candy bar) and the probiotics make our stomachs nice and happy! I was searching for a mint chocolate flavor and these are delicious. Because they are 200 calories, I cut the bar in half and have a half/day, this also makes them last longer...I put them in the fridge, it doesn't say to but most probiotic items need to be refrigerated. I like that the bar is hard and chewy when cold. If you like mint chocolate you will love these, and they are good for you!!
