Stunning Lamp Shade
Despite the initial hiccup with the instructions, I am thrilled with the end result. The finished lamp shade looks even more beautiful than I had imagined, casting a warm and inviting glow that instantly enhances the atmosphere of my room. The intricate design creates a mesmerizing play of light and shadow, instantly elevating the ambiance of any room. The lamp shade itself is made of high-quality materials that feel durable and long-lasting. I opted for the white color, which adds a touch of modern elegance to my space, but there are various other colors available to suit different decor styles. Assembling the lamp shade was an enjoyable experience, thanks to the clever interlocking pieces that fit together like a puzzle. Once I got the hang of it, the process was surprisingly straightforward, and I was able to complete it in no time. Though I must admit, it took a few attempts to assemble it – I guess you could say I turned it into a 'puzzleception'! However, I must mention that the included instructions left much to be desired. They were vague and unclear, making it difficult to figure out the assembly process at first. Fortunately, I turned to YouTube for installation videos, which provided much-needed guidance and made the process much smoother.

The most useless thing I’ve ever purchased
The instructions are not worth the paper they are printed on, picture far too small and poor quality. After about an hour & a half I got it put together without instructions. The plastic is static so literally attracts every bit of dust or hair! Once together it looked quite attractive but you have to reopen it to get it over the light fitting, that where it all goes pear shaped and it starts to ping apart, after 30 mins of trying it was thrown in anger, it collapsed like a deck of cards so it went in the bin!

It's a proper puzzle
Once you manage to get it together... It looks amazing and very beautiful. The material is sturdy, the concept is great, but you need to like a bit of a puzzle. I marked my pieces with coloured stickers for assembly. The instructions are not good enough: the pctures need to be bigger, and more clear and a video tutorial would be ideal. Looking at the pictures of the end result helped me to understand it better. I still have to figure out how to close it again after I slipped the lamp and wire in... So I left it a bit open and the wire is not straight because of that. I may have to give it another try.

Lovely, but not easy
I'm really glad I bought this light shade as it looks wonderful when lit up. I was worried when I saw other reviews say it was far too difficult to assemble and I wasn't sure it would be worth the money but it definitely is. Assembling it was a fairly difficult, you shouldn't buy this if you just want a light shade that's easy to put up. It took me about an hour (including a mistake and some backtracking at the beginning) but the instructions were fine if you read them carefully. The pieces aren't fully symmetrical so you have to orient them a certain way (front-facing or back-facing, as explained in the instructions). I didn't need to consult a YouTube video as others have suggested doing. The pictures don't really do it justice as it looks fantastic when lit up, preventing any harsh lighting while still giving it detail so it doesn't look like a giant paper bulb. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a light shade with a nice design and has an hour to spare, especially at £6.40 (although Anazin says it's normally £12.40 and I'd be slightly more hesitant at that price). One negative is that it picked up a quite a few hairs/bits of fluff from the carpet I assembled it on as the pieces have a kind of static cling like balloons which I suspect will make it difficult to dust. I'd recommend assembling it on a clean table.

Tricky, but love it !
Very stylish ! I had to reset it 3 times to get something nice. I agree, the instructions aren’t well written. XL size ~30 com - looks even larger!

Small size more fiddly than larger
These puzzle lights are great - good value and look modern and classy, given that they are made of plastic pieces. Assembly is OK once you get the hang of it, but still takes a bit of spatial thinking to understand what's going on. Completion is surprising satisfying, given that you're making a lampshade. It's worth knowing that the smaller size is more difficult to make (IMO), because the individual pieces, being smaller, are relatively stiffer and more less easy to flex to fit than those in the medium size. In addition, it is more difficult to hang the smaller size. The fitting mechanism is basically to run the pendant lamp flex through one of the rosettes where five pieces intersect (see the images - you will see "rosettes" where the pieces join - some are have three pieces intersecting, some have five). You have to completely undo the rosette to fit the bulb and fitting through and remake the rosette in situ - I needed a stepladder rather than a chair to do this so that I could see what I was doing from above the lampshade when hanging. Again the greater flex of the medium-sized pieces made this a relatively straightforward task for the medium sized, but a nightmare for the small size. In fact I found it impossible to hang the smaller size on a standard UK white flex without cutting a little away from the "hook" of each of the five pieces that joint to form the rosette - a hole punch was ideal for this (but scissors would be equally fine). Once this mod was made, hanging was straightforward. Lastly, an observation: I used these to replace spherical paper lampshades. I used small and medium puzzle shades to replace similar small and medium paper shades. My sense is that the small size appears smaller than the paper shade it replaced (and perhaps a little too small), while the medium seemed a little larger (but just fine).

It's in pieces
I didn't read properly but that's what this seller is counting on. You're paying for cheap plastic and hard work.

Fab shades
Bought 3 of these shades which arrive as packs of flat cut puzzle identical pieces which have a matte and shiny face so you can decide which you prefer when assembling. The instructions look impressive and comprehensively laid out in the booklet which accompanies them but the instructions are pretty unintelligible in practise!! There is a very good YouTube video (search for 'puzzle light') which allows you to watch and pause while you follow along. Once you've practised a few times it does become apparent how you should assemble the shades. By the third shade it took me less than 5 mins. Hanging it on the light fitting is a matter of gently sliding the bulb into the light and bringing the electrical cord into one of the 5 petalled shapes. The effect is really nice and there's purity to the white of the plastic which makes them look good when unlit. Easy to take down and wash unlike a dusty paper shade equivalent. So buy and have patience with the construction!! Worth the price and end result.

Many ways to assemble
It was pretty tricky to assemble, but once you figured out the pattern it went together fairly easily. This is our second one. The first one was outside in our gazebo for 2 summers and some of the plastic became brittle and broke when I washed the shade. We bought a second one for the gazebo, and I noticed different assembly patterns using fewer pieces. I put the first one together again in a different configuration, using fewer pieces and now I have two lamps. Cute.

Very beautiful
I have bought 2 sizes for the balcony. The lamps looks great. Though it took a while to put it together. A real puzzel, good for a brain work 😊

Un peu dure à monter. Le temps de comprendre ca m a prit quand même 30 à 40 minutes. Mais le rendu et génial et pour le prix ça a l air bien solide et pourtant j ai bien tordu les bou sur la fin !

The worst product I ever bought!!!
Very stupid puzzle. The introduction is very insufficient. Even you search a Youtube video to understand how to do that, still you will find that is very difficult to make it stable because of the poor quality! Even you finish, you will realize it is totally not a good lampshade because it is not transparent enough!!! It will make your light become very dark!!!!!
