Can this headset be used on the right ear ?. In other words does mic boom rotate 180 degrees?

Nope. It only has about 110 degree rotation. Left ear only

Folks with big heads, how well does this fit you? I have a pretty large skull and other headsets I have tried squeeze my head something fierce.

As one with a big head, I have had no problem with this headset. Pressure is light and not tiring after hours of use.

I couldn't tell from the photos but does it fold compactly for travel? My bag real estate isn't vast so compactness is key for me - thanks!

The speaker part (Mic) goes up, but it does not fold more than that.

Is there an adapter with a standard headset jack? I wanted to use on PS4 controller and this seemed to be the only monoaural one.

No adapter included. You would have to purchase one separately. There is only a USB connector at the end of the cable.
