I would say its deff. a regular shaft. They call them wedge flex they don't offer stiff

it depends how long the holes are on the pitch and putt, and what angle you get. As a beginner you would probably be better with something about 50 degrees and if you hit it right, it will go about 110 yards. if the holes are longer you would probably be better with a standard pitching wedge which is about 45 degrees and will go about 140 yards.
