1 Pair of Howard Leight Individually Wrapped Laser Lite Ear Plugs

I am from the states and these are easy enough to find anywhere there but if you do not have any other choice but to buy noise protection online than, these are a must have. Unlike sylicone ear plugs, that can build up your ear canal with waxy residue and does not allow for proper drainage and are hard to get that, JUST RIGHT, feel, THESE EAR PLUGS are a MUST HAVE. They fit snuggly but comfortably in the ear canal and STAY PUT! They are hard to get just right if you are useing THIS type of ear plug for the first time, as they tend to fluff up, rather quickly in the ear but once inserted CORRECTLY, they stay put and BLOCK OUT almost 100% noise. I have extremely sensitive hearing and any noise will wake me from, the birds outside my winodw to the trash trucks coming for collection and MY NEIGHBOURS...OMG THE RACKET they make, when having a party upstairs... it makes me want to pull my hair out but THESE DO THE TRICK and block out all of those noises. They are an easy fit for a person who has a, more than avaerage size, ear canal and MY HUSBAND LOVES them too, so we bought BULK and got 3 orders and that... I will guarentee you , if they fit you properly, will last a very long time! I could not find this particular BRAND in England, where I am currently residing , so I bought them from Amazon and having had them in the past for loud concerts back in the states and my husband also used them for his Band's gigs, here in England, after I had sent him some from the U.S.A. , we can both attest, that they do indeed work... IF used properly!! REMEMBER..... everyone has a different sized ear canal and if you have problems with allergies or drainage, just try one pair and you will not be out much money. I have major allergy problems and these seem to BREATHE easier in my ears and tend to let the drainage flow into them and so , if they DO fill while I am suffering an allergy nasty , than I just toss them out and open another set. GREAT PRICE and fast service, for a good nights sleep and an ear hole that does not hurt when you awaken. They do make these in flesh color and they work WONDERS, if you suffer from being out and about or from ,PTSD , like I do and you need to have a liitle bit less noise in your head. I WOULD NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITHOUT THEM!!! I would not recommend FOR children as they are easy to swallow and possibly choke on and if you do have children or pets , make sure you keep them out of harms way. THE BRIGHT color, makes them easy to find if you do lose one. I just bought a cheap medicine dispenser for a pound/dollar, that holds five days worth of pills and since THESE came to me, inividulaly wrapped as a pair, I just popped five days worth into the dispenser and keeps them safe from.... loss, kids,pets and is great if you have to travel and need more then on pair. THESE MAY SEEM CHEAP BUT ARE SOOOO NOT MADE CHEAP (unless you have extremely long finger nails) ! My daughter also wears these while she sleeps, since she has a house full of nosiy people living with her and it helps her block out the noise when she is studying for college. I would however, RECOMMEND, that if you tend not to waken easy with your alarm clock , TURN UP the VOLUME and if the alarm clock scares you, when it goes off , like it does me, then you will find waking up to it much easier than you did before wearing these. I hope this review helped someone out there and TRUST me when I say... suffering from, PTSD, is no fun but at least now, I can go out and about here in England and it does help severly lessen my stress levels. I wear them at all times day or night and like I said ....when one pair wears out just toss it and grab another and you are all set, anytime day or night!!! Delivery - pretty quick, I think they only took a couple of days to arrive. Value - incredibly cheap. I haven't bought ear plugs before but for the job they do and the improvement of my quality of life they are a no-brainer. Design - absolutely fantastic; shaped like little rockets. You can squish, pinch, twist and pummel them and then watch in awe as they slowly return to their original shape. Very cool! Comfort - I think I have funny shaped inner ears because mine don't hold earphones at all but with a few pushes these ear plugs will stay in. Alternatively, you can bend the base in, which is wider than the top and they will stay in securely. I've left them in for a few hours before and they are still comfortable after that time. One tip that might be handy is after you've pushed them in, hold your finger to the base so as they expand to fill your ear they don't push themselves out. Usage - I'm not sure what the protocol is on reusing these but I use each pair for about 2-3 weeks before throwing them. If you keep your ears clean (!) and store the ear plugs in a little pot or something to keep dust/hairs off, you could probably use them longer. In fact, you could probably wash them, something I haven't tried, and just keep using them 'til you lose them! They're so cheap though I just throw them and crack open a new bag since there's 20 sets and I will only need them for a few more months anyway! Do they work? In short, yes, they do their job, albeit not perfectly. I bought this product because unfortunately I've had to move back into my parents place for a few months whilst I work from home and save some money to get a new place. The household is completely disfunctional and my little brother and sister, 15 and 13 respectively, are extremely loud, foul-mouthed, and have their friends round almost every day who are also awful. The combined effect of all the shouting, giggling, swearing and answering back to my parents is a horrible level of noise pollution and negativity assaulting my ears on a daily basis. I should say at this point I have a great relationship with all members of my family, unfortunately they don't show each other the same level of respect; I mention all this simply to describe the general ambient noise that I use these ear plugs to avoid hearing whilst I'm in the house and trying to work/read/concentrate. So, with that introduction, I will try to describe the effects of using these ear plugs in reducing noise. I found that within a 2 - 3 metre radius, there is not much difference in noise reduction. If someone is on the phone in the same room I can still hear although the words are slightly muffled. I can hear any noise I make pretty clearly, like tapping a pen or typing. Where these ear plugs have their best effect is reducing noise traveling from other rooms. My brother, bless him, makes a lot of noise in his room upstairs with his mates and I'd say the ear plugs reduce up to 85% of this which is exactly what I'd hoped. Noise from the kitchen about 4 metres away, the tv room 5 metres away and the outhouse 6 metres away is reduced by about 90%. Obviously the walls, doors and floorboards help but none are very thick. Overall, I'm really pleased I bought these badboy's. I wasn't sure what to expect and whilst it would be awesome if they eliminated 100% of noise near or far, I know that's not realistic and probably not desirable if you wear them to sleep for example and need a minimum level of hearing in case of an emergency or something. I don't have anything to compare them to but for my purposes they do an excellent job and I highly recommend them. As many other people have posted, each in different situations and use cases, they've helped us keep our sanity!

I have a standard sized family of 4 people, all of which are very loud and disrespectful in the mornings and early morning. 1 member gets up at 5am and is stomping around the house, slamming doors and shouting and then she leaves at 6.30am only for another member to come home from work to do the exact same thing, while watching a very loud tv programme. I also have another highly strung member who lives here, who likes to scream and shout at every little thing, plus a yappy dog who barks at everything -- kind of like of like the 3rd member. Needless fo say I was never getting any sleep, especially since I'm the lightest sleeper in the world and then thrown in with the chaos of still living at home with these maniacs, as well as any little noise I can hear; I'm awake for most of the night. A few weeks ago I literally couldn't handle anymore, I was at my wits end and running on empty. It was then I decided to try some ear plugs, or kill them all in their sleep -- that last option clearly wasn't an option at all, so I went with the ear plugs. I pretty much bought these Howard Leights based on the reviews and thought if people were having success with loud, disrespectful pub owners, I should be fine with my loud, disrespectful family. It's been about a week since I've been using the ear plugs and I must say they aren't as good as the previous reviewers made out, BUT, they were better than any ear plugs I have tried before. The Howard Leights take a fair bit of getting to used to and I try to get them as deep into my ear canal as possible but they don't always stay there, and do fall out on occasion. As for the noise, they tend to muffle noise rather than block it out completely, which is what I was hoping for, however; I am getting a much better nights sleep because of them, which I think is because I'm able to fall into a deeper sleep and these aid in keeping me there. Sometimes, if I am awake and have these in them I do hear quite a lot, I hear my yappy dog and the 3rd family member getting up from bed as there is a noisy floorboard outside my bedroom door. Apart from that, I'm completely happy, especially because I have 20 pairs for the price and they are the most comfortable things I have ever put in my ears -- literally like a cloud. I'm happy and I'm sleeping, and I have these little fluorescent gems to thank for it.

Absolutely adore these - cheap and very very good quality. I suffer from misophonia, and so I wear these when I eat with people, go on camps where I hear people breathing/snoring, or when we do work or exams in silence. I have many little triggers, and these earplugs do the job of blocking out noise perfectly! I can still hear people talking (if there isn't too much background noise and if they're talking loud enough) and the TV if it's one while we're eating (again, if it's turned on loud enough). Most of the time people don't know I'm wearing them as my hair covers my ears. Although they are very brightly coloured, so may not be as discreet for someone whose ears show. They are very comfortable and fit in my ear perfectly. All you have to do is roll them between your fingers and slot them in your ear, then they will expand to mold themselves into the right shape. The nice 'T' shape means that I don't have to worry about them getting stuck in my ear as well, which was always a worry with other earplugs that I have bought in the past. At noisy camps they block out lot's of noise (except the loud pots-and-pans wake up call right outside your tent haha) so I get a decent night's sleep. They don't fall out of my ears, however if you roll/move about a lot in your sleep then they may slip out, but the bright colours mean that they're very easy to find. Mine have also survived the washing machine and still work well, which I was very surprised about! I've had pairs in the past that you may accidentally leave in your pockets and they've gone rock solid so I had to bin them. Arrived swiftly in a neat little bag, and each pair of earplugs came in separate bags as well, which is great. On the individual bags they have instructions on how to use them properly. I wouldn't recommend using the same pair more than twice. I've done it and most of the time I'm fine, but every now and again my ears will be slightly itchy on the inside. Some people have said that they have had ear infections after using one pair twice, so if you're prone to ear infections please don't reuse pairs. Will most certainly be buying again!

My helmet before these physically heart my ears when going at normal speeds so much so that my ears increased wax production and sent me deaf for a fortnight (nice I know but you wanted to read an accurate review). After an ear syringing and using these things where a lot quieter and no it wasn't down to having permanent hearing damage. here are a few hearing related stats. A typical conversation occurs at 60 dB – not loud enough to cause damage. A bulldozer that is idling (note that this is idling, not actively bulldozing) is loud enough at 85 dB that it can cause permanent damage after only 1 work day (8 hours). When listening to a personal music system with stock earphones at a maximum volume, the sound generated can reach a level of over 100 dBA, loud enough to begin causing permanent damage after just 15 minutes per day! A clap of thunder from a nearby storm (120 dB) or a gunshot (140-190 dB, depending on weapon), can both cause immediate damage. Worth buying a pack of these now isn't it!!! Good points: Soft sponge that molds to your ear canal ensuring a good fit, comfortable, muffles loud noises like wind noise (motorbike riding) but doesn't make you deaf so you can still hear traffic, Bad points: Not enough in a packet as my wife used these once overnight and now keeps stealing them to cut down on my snoring noise so there are none left for me (there is still enough hearing ability after insertion to hear your alarm). Buy some always handy to have in a draw somewhere and a reasonable sized pack if you loose as many as me (mostly by theft). Info prolonged use of these items i.e. every day will increase your ear canals temperature increasing the bacteria in you ear which your body will then produce more ear wax to compensate for. Also if you are prone to high ear wax production this product could push this wax back up your ear canal and increase the risk of blocked ears and thus syringing being needed. So if you use them during the day don't use them at night as well let the air get in there. Pardon what you say???? Oh sorry forgot I've my b*£@$y ear plugs in again!!! (gets me out of chores that way he he he)

I have tried Orthopax brand. I purchased a set of 5-pairs and paid around £5 for them. I'm the kind of person who just uses stuff without reading the instruction. I only just read them whist these were on the way and gave them second try. Make sure you follow the steps: 1 - Roll between fingers 2 - Reach over your head and pull the tip of your ear up 3 - Gently but firmly push the rolled ear bud to the most sensitive part of the ear (hard part) If you follow these steps you will feel the plugs go into your ear canal (still makes me cringe). The Othopax are good and my even be higher quality foam however the foam is so sturdy that when it expands its much louder. Not only this as it expands you can feel pressure and may have to pull it out slightly. The firmness of the Orthopax makes them uncomfortable against a pillow and whilst cancelling nearly all external sounds I found the internal sounds of my heartbeat became more of a problem before pulling them out and facing the annoying sounds. I purchased the Howard Leight expecting no better quality it seems too good to be true 20 pairs for under £3!! They are softer foam and actually look better in real life (a lot less clinical that the Orhopax). The softness really does help putting them in. I took me under a minute compared to the 2/3 that I manage with the otho Surprisingly it actually cut out more sound. As the last one expanded, it was like someone was using a remote-control to turn down the annoying hum of the boiler! I've tested placing my head against the pillow and I couldn't feel them at all. Sounds that get through are very low and my heartbeat no longer resembles Techno (which I actually enjoy). Looking forward to using them - I'm tempted to bulk-buy a life supply and make a bed out of them! :D

I've used earplugs for years as struggle to sleep with sounds. I thought these were the wake ones I always buy but there is no density to them. Stop hardly any noise and all are going in the bin. Pointless waste of money.

Purchased these a while back and have used on and off. They are very big and not very comfortable at all, especially if you use them at night while sleeping. So far, I haven't been able to sleep with these in because of the discomfort they cause me. They do serve their purpose well and block out noise fairly well - some noise leakage does occur, I've noticed. I received a lot of pairs for the price, which was a bonus as I can almost use them disposably if I so choose. They are difficult to get into your ears, because of the large size and they do become misshapen with regular use. You squeeze them to get them into your ears, but in doing so I've often found that they don't regain their previous shape and become even more uncomfortable to wear. I suppose you get what you pay for, which isn't a very high quality product at all. If my memory serves me correctly, I also believe that they took rather a long time to come. So if your intention is to purchase these before a long-haul flight, I would not recommend choosing these. Overall, they aren't that brilliant, but I suppose you get what you pay for.

La caja contiene 200 bolsitas de tapones, si son 200 pares. Yo soy fan de este modelo en particular porque me resultan bastante cómodos. Se expanden dentro del canal auditivo y aíslan el ruido de manera efectiva. Los uso para viajar en la motocicleta y asi evitar fatiga auditiva. Sigue las instrucciones de uso y no empujes el tapón muy al fondo, porque puede llegar a ser incómodo. SIEMPRE MANEJARLOS CON LAS MANOS LIMPIAS, LOS VAS A INTRODUCIR EN TUS OÍDOS.

Fait son taf et protège bien et est facile à insérer dans mes oreilles :-) Seul hic, mon fils de 12 ans ne sait pas les mettre car son conduit auditif est plus petit

La caja venía como alterada así que dudé de si en verdad traía los 200 pares que dice traer; pero sí, incluso traía 204. En cuanto a su calidad es muy buena, pueden durar muchas puestas, yo apenas abrí un par, me los he puesto como 8 veces y siguen como nuevos, entonces estos 200 van a durar para mucho tiempo. Por otro lado, en cuanto a su eficacia. La verdad es que son muy buenos porque si se usan de manera correcta siguiendo tal cual las instrucciones, se puede obtener un resultado bastante bueno, lo suficiente para que ningún ruido te moleste en la noche; evidentemente no va a aislar al 100% todos los ruidos (nada ni ningún aparato lo hace), pero sí ladridos de perros, música fuerte, ruidos del entorno, etc. Entonces la gente que dice que no les ha funcionado es porque seguramente no los han aplicado bien. Un buen procedimiento consiste en apretarlos bien para compactarlos e introducirlos rápidamente hasta el fondo del oído mientras jalas tu oreja hacia afuera y al final los debes mantener presionados como 40 segundos. El problema es que después de un tiempo te empiezan a doler los oídos por lo mismo que se expanden en el canal auditivo. Por lo tanto, deberían ser usados solo cuando se duerme o en momentos específicos. Y por último, no, no se salen durante la noche a menos que sean mal aplicados, ya que incluso cuesta un poco de trabajo retiralarlos.

Selon moi, les meilleurs bouchons d’oreille sur le marché. Très sensible au bruit, j’ai utilisé bon nombre de marques disponibles dans le commerce qui a l’usage me provoquaient une gêne au niveau du conduit auditif avec ceux ci je n’ai aucune douleur et un confort total pour dormir. En résumé : Très bonne isolation phonique, idéale pour le sommeil, les voyages ou les environnements bruyants. Texture douce et mousse compressible qui épouse parfaitement bien la forme du conduit auditif sans gêne en usage prolongé. Conditionnement en sachet unitaire, pratique et hygiénique pour les déplacements ou le stockage. Malgré une peau hypersensible, cette mousse ne me provoque aucune irritation de la peau.

After a big research and trials of many major brands but this one's shape fits the best contours of ears canals... Sound isolation is great too. Other great thins that it is super soft and light besides it's great shape it won't hurt the outer part of the ear canal. Super recommended bought another 200 pairs and it helped me Alot to overcome my noisy neighbors.
