A great and silent compact projector for the bedroom.
Not gonna have anything mind blowing to say about this projector, or anything incredibly insightful about it's specs. It's my first projector, but honestly it's the first one I'd ever even have considered. I originally got this as I live in a an apartment and I don't really have space for much of a projection setup, and I didn't really want to get a large screen TV especially considering how little I would use it and how much space it would have to occupy. This little projector comes in handy whenever I want to share a movie or a game but it does require a dark room, at only 1000 lumens. Good thing I live above the arctic circle, where the winters are long and dark. I actually prefer using this projector on it's eco/power saving mode, which makes it even dimmer but almost completely silent. With Eco mode, I've just moved this unit into my bedroom and have it reflecting on to a grey painted wall. I would never have considered to mount a projector into my bedroom just because of the incredibly annoying noise projectors can make, but this is so quiet I can even fall asleep to it. The bluetooth connectivity makes choosing and changing audio sources fairly easy I am considering getting this thing wall/roof mounted. I just have not been able to find a good mounting bracket as the projector only has 3 screw holes at the bottom, which is probably some really common mounting system I am completely oblivious too. As silly as it would have been, I think a standard camera tripod mount would have been great for this projector. One annoyance with this projector though, is the way the TV channel guide works. Whenever you enter it, to choose what your watching, it cuts out the background audio. This is a bit silly as many times I am watching the last few minutes of the news, don't really need to see whats happening and want to start looking at whats next. If I actually cared about TV this would probably be a pretty big annoyance, but I do most of my news watching on my computer and this is mostly for enjoying movies. So the fact that it has a TV tuner is only a plus for me. Oh and lastly, my unit came with a swapable UK power plug, no EU plug like many have stated. Easy thing to replace, most people probably have one in their own flavor already. Also it seems there are 2 versions of this projector package out there, one that comes with something called a "Magic remote" and the other comes with a bog standard black LG TV remote. I got the latter, prefer it it more, but just FYI for anyone who likes those magic remotes. Don't know which ones will be more available in the future, but I've gotten mine close to the time of writing this review so more likely this standard black remote is what you will receive.

Great little projector but not quite as vendor pics.
I do like this projector a lot - it's not as bright as a big one but then again you wouldn't expect it to be, particularly when running from the battery. You can watch tv type pictures or presentations reasonably well in a non-brightly lit room with a white-ish wall for projection. To watch movies or anything with dark scenes in it a pretty dark room will be needed, which is fine. HD definition works well and it keeps decent focus up to quite a large size of screen. It says 100" max. and you wouldn't want to go beyond that, but it is still very good at 50" or so. I may not have got to the bottom of this yet but the connections work pretty well although perhaps not as smoothly as one would like. Bluetooth works fine for pairing with a speaker but cannot be used for input. It will display wireless input from a mobile or computer, but as far as I can tell it will not do wireless and Bluetooth at the same time which is annoying but quite ok if you have the relevant cables. If you want to project photos or still images from a phone or laptop wirelessly it is great. With movies or videos there can be a lag between view and sound and the lack of sync. can be difficult to watch. For some reason that I am not sure of, this lag can be either greater or less when using external speakers depending on the speaker. The lag does seem to be magnified when using Bluetooth though. The integral speakers work ok but are rather quiet and tinny and even a simple battery powered external one gives a better sound. It has a fan when running which is reasonably quiet. Energy saving mode means that it is not as bright when running from the battery as when the supplied mains adaptor is plugged in. It is conveniently compact and looks a lot like the photos EXCEPT it does not have the antenna input as pictured, and as appears to be standard on other models. To be fair I don't think it is listed in the description, but you would have to be looking very closely to pick that up, and this is perhaps why it has been cheaper than other listings. For me it doesn't matter too much as I didn't really get it to be a stand-alone tv, but it was still somewhat disappointing, and if you need this feature you will have to look elsewhere, and I think the description should be amended to make this clear. All in all it is good but not faultless and they really should change that description.

Superb!
I am really pleased with this projector. It was great value for money in the sale. It really delivers an excellent picture and benefits from led technology to give 30000 hours lamp life! Also, it comes with a 3 year warranty. I have had no issues with focus. The picture, even at 100" is focused at the top and bottom of the screen (attached photo is a 100" image projected on to a magnolia wall, at middle eco mode, and the image is great!). The only thing to be aware of is the brightness. I find in a dark room, a 100" picture is great, even at the middle eco mode (quieter fan). In a room with a little light, a 80" picture still looks good. It probably would not be as good in a bright room so I would advise looking at alternatives if you are purchasing for a bright room. However, for my use, in a darkish environment, it is the best £699 I have ever spent. Fan noise is not too bad, considering that the projector is in front of where you sit. The eco mode is good as the noise is reduced but picture still good in a dark environment. 3D mode from Blu-ray player works really well. I had to purchase some glasses but they were quite cheap. the effect is great. For some reason, I can't get my Sky 3D to work but will try again soon. Overall, an excellent projector for a moderately light or dark environment.
