FYI, the Grom plugs into a socket right at the bottom of the head unit, I had to remove the head unit completely as the factory cabling wouldn't allow me to reach the required socket with the head unit in place . There was no room behind my head unit for the Grom but it sits hidden away nicely on a ledge between the head unit & the central air vent.
