Yes can be used forward or rear facing.

Can this be used on the carry cot?

Yes I have mamas and papas occaro and I’ve been using it on the carry cot attachment it’s really easy and folds down easily to put underneath pram into a little bag. I’ve found it so handy.

Can this be used with a mamas and papas acro travel pram?

Hello, I believe so, I have used it on my Miniuno travel pram and it was fine, you just clip it on the sides and that is it. Hope it helps
