I bought this 2kg bag of hollow fibre stuffing for a mix of projects – restuffing old cushions, making homemade toys, and topping up a flattened pillow – and it has been absolutely perfect. The fibre is incredibly soft, fluffy, and springy. It holds its shape beautifully without clumping or going flat after use. The 2kg size is fantastic value for money. I've already stuffed several cushion covers and two large plush toys, and I still have loads left. The hollow fibre nature means it's lightweight but gives great loft and insulation – my cushions look plump and professional, not lumpy or thin. It's also hypoallergenic and washable, which gives me peace of mind. The bag arrived securely packaged and vacuum-compressed, but once opened, it fluffed up beautifully. For anyone into DIY crafts, upholstery projects, or just reviving tired pillows, this is top-quality stuffing at a great price. Highly recommended – five stars!

Large bag, nice and soft. Ideal for filling for teddie and cushions

I bought this for stuffing soft toys. At £6 per kilo including postage, it's cheaper than any other synthetic filler I could find. I don't really have the vocabulary to describe toy stuffing textures but, compared to more expensive brands, this stuff is springier, and rather less fluffy. I concede that this is a vague description. It's probably best for stuffing large objects, owing to its price. For a smaller item, I wold be inclined to look for something a bit more fluffy in texture. The product arrived packed into a plastic bag about two feet in circumference. In unpacks into a much greater volume. I guess how much you need depends on how firmly you want your bears stuffed. I didn't find any hard bits or unexpected material in the bag. It's a uniform, dull white colour, but I guess it won't be seen once it's in place. I suspect that the material is just slightly allergenic. The day after using it I had itchy knuckles -- the same itchiness I get after handling "non-allergenic" loft insulation (which has a similar texture). I guess I'll need to use it more to know whether this is a problem or not. So far, I have no reservations about buying more of it, when I have more bears to stuff.

Great value for money excellent product highly recommend

This is brilliant. Reasonably priced. Great that i can get a kilo size bag. It was costing a fortune buying from local haberdashery shop, which only stocks small and large bags. So now I have quality, a really good quantity, so that I can use to stuff my home knitted toys. Wish I had looked on line before.

I used it for all my pillows and it works fine, you can add as much or as little as you need, depending on how you like your pillows.

Firstly i urge you to read the negative reviews. Most are from people like me who make soft toys. I crochet many different types of toys and have tried quite a lot of different stuffings including buying cheap pillows from a local high street store and pulling out their stuffing. This is of similar quality to the filling in the cheapest pillows. It feels coarse is greyish and is not soft or squishy. Now for the price its ok but if you are making a lovely toy i think the hard work you put in to its making, necessitates a better stuffing.
