I am trying to purchase a case for my dads phone. He has a J56. Will it fit this case.

Hi Elaine. With respect, the phone is a Samsung J5 six, not 56, the six being for year 2016. The 'Simpeak' case has a phone gripping frame that is 72mm x 144mm, The rear of the case has three openings for the camera across the case centred at 23mm from the top of the case. I hope this helps.
