My 87-year-old mother has been becoming increasingly hard of hearing, and phone conversations increasingly frustrating for her, and callers. Especially for me, as I live in the U.S. and don't see her that often. It got to a point where I literally had to shout for her to hear me - and then just barely. She was upset too that she could no longer hear her 5-year-old granddaughter on the phone. My husband suggested a hard-of-hearing phone, and after reading favorable reviews of the Geemarc Clearsound, bought it for her. Fantastic! Now, she can hear me clearly talking at normal levels, and I can hear the delight in her voice. Plus, it's easy to use - a simple lever for adjusting the volume. For a self-professed technological dunce like my mum, this is an added boon. I visited her recently and saw too how sturdy the phone is; nice, solid, big dial buttons, which as she said with a chuckle, will be easy to use if ever she starts losing her sight as well. Life can become very isolating for the hard of hearing, and I feel this has given her a new lease on it, since phone calls are largely how she keeps in touch with far-flung family. I just had a second one sent to her for her 88th birthday, so she has one in both places she normally takes and makes calls. I thoroughly recommend this phone, no reservations. Thank you, Geemarc!

I bought this phone for an elderly relative who needed something simple which did not depend on being plugged into the mains (she kept forgetting to keep the mains-run phone plugged in to the electricity supply.). The size of the buttons on this phone makes it simpler for her to use, and the series of one-button special contacts simplifies for her making contact with me and if needed, GP and emergency services. Phone seems very good quality, ring and speaking volumes are both good and adjustable. We are very happy with this phone.

Got this phone for an elderly cantankerous relative with poor hearing who refuses to wear a hearing aid. It was to replace the previous CL 100 which had lasted really well. It's nice and loud and easy to use big butons with speed dials so the whole family can easily be contacted (she loves this feature ;-() and that it iluminates when there is an incoming call. The previous phone had lasted really well having being knocked on to the carpeted floor more times that I thought was possible. I have been informed that it has managed to fly quite well on several occasions and still survived a crash landing after colliding with a wall. I am considering buying several for stock, due to the increasing number of inane telesales calls and the customer service centres based in some far away land with staff who have incomprehensable accents or wish to put you in a queue at position 42 ! (I just know it wont be long before its first test flight :-)

This telephone was specifically ordered for my near-deaf sister-in-law. I bought it in July 2018 but within a month or so it started to play up. We put it down to the BT line and they came in and tested it. Afterwards they said they had 'optimised' it and the phone seemed to work again. But over the months the intermittent nature of its use became more of problem - which is, that the phone works when taking calls (the majority of its use - and why the intermittent keypad was not detected earlier) but the keypad now fails so often that you just can't dial out on it. The key-tones give the impression that the key has 'bounced' and before you know it you get the automated voice telling you the number does not exist. Even if you can dial out the conversation is soon interrupted with a load of loud beeping tones that make it impossible to use. I now have a near-deaf sister-in-law who cannot communicate to the outside world if needs be and I find that the order does not allow me to do a return or get my money back. This is intolerable. It is the biggest piece of rubbish I have ever bought from Amazon in the 20 years I have been buying with them! I hope someone in Geemarc is monitoring this site and takes the opportunity to correct the problem.

I bought for an elderly relative who is hard of hearing and has poor hand mobility and this phone suits him fine. The handset is easy for him to pick up, the memory buttons are convenient and, best of all, he can hear and be heard. So much better than two phones I got him before this.

bought Geemarc CL100 on Amazon on 18/01/2025 and it failed on 09/09/2025. BT call out confirmed line was OK but handset was not, working properly. I sent email to the helpline on 09/09/2025 which has not been replied to . The helpline cut off two rings and would not take messages. The sales line would not deal with the issue. . A poor product with poor customer service so a two guarantee was not backed up Following a further exchange of emails, a replacement phone was delivered on 04/10/25 so I have increased my experience to a 3 star rating to reflect their improved customer service

Simplemente mejor de lo que me esperaba

Confezione: contiene il telefono, la cornetta, il cavo di collegamento telefono-cornetta, cavo telefono-presa telefonica (inutilizzabile in Italia perché credo compatibile solo con le linee inglesi/francesi), manuale multilingue. Utilizzo: Tasti enormi -> facile composizione Portando la suoneria al massimo -> il suono è ben percepibile e si associa al lampeggiamento di 4 led rossi alla base del telefono. Portando il volume dell’altoparlante della cornetta al massimo -> il suono aumenta di circa 30 db: per chi ha una sordità senile sicuramente noterà la differenza riuscendo finalmente a sentire il proprio interlocutore. Altro: È previsto la possibilità di bilanciamento vocale, di memorizzazione di 3 numeri di emergenza + 10 da rubrica (previo posizionamento di batterie). NB il telefono NON ha bisogno di elettricità per funzionare (e le batterie servono solo per garantire la memorizzazione dei numeri in rubrica)

Habe das Gerät bei einer Bekannten installiert, die schwerhörig und kurzsichtig ist. Die Installation war einfach. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die M1 bis M9 Tasten und die seitliche Liste sind ziemlich klein. Werde den Test jetzt abwarten und dann ggf. noch Eines bei einer Verwandten mir ähnlichen Problemen einbauen.
