Asian Supermarket fresh Thai Pandan Leaf (200G)

I received my fresh Pandan leaves really quickly and they were so fresh and neatly packaged. I have separate them into smaller bags as I will not be using them straight away. I usually buy them from the local Asian store but they did not have stock the last time I was there. These look and smell the same. I use them mainly when making desserts by adding them to the coconut milk and heating it over a low heat. In curries you can add them to the dish and then just remove them before serving. I an no expert but they do add a nice taste to food and you can taste the difference the leaves make to a dish. 200g of leaves is a lot more than I was expecting them to be so this should last ages. They are all nice and fresh looking and took 2 days from the time I ordered them until arriving.

Quick service. Leaves very fresh and aromatic. 200 grams is a lot, but it freezes well and should flavour my rice and curries for many a month

I have never used Pandan leaves before so I had no idea what to expect. I had wondered if leaves shipped from the other side of the world would be limp, pale and past their best. Not a bit of it. I promptly received a very large bag (well over thirty long leaves) of bright green fresh leaves with an amazing aroma. So far I have frozen half and have made a very vivid green pandan juice extract with the rest. I would have no hesitation in buying them again.

Chop up leaves and boil in water for about 5 minutes. Add sugar and chill for a refreshing drink.

The leaves are so dry and stiff, you could hurt somebody by hitting with them. Some had mould as well. You cant return or request a refund as well.

Nice quality, easily frozen. The leaves are broad and healthy and, while admittedly it is never the same as fresh, the taste is good after freezing. Essential for dishes like nasi lemak!

Received about 30 leaves in total. Very fresh. I used about 5 and put the rest in freezer until next time!

Having read the reviews, I decided to order. Leaves arrived promptly and well packaged. I made some desserts and the smell and colour was great. There was plenty to put in the freezer and definitely ordering more when it runs out.
