Forever Flush 2000 Blue Toilet Blocks, Eco Friendly Alternative to Loo Rim Hangers, Cistern Capsules Clean & Descale WCs, Natural Vegan & Non Toxic Cleaner, Recyclable Plastic (Set of 2)

I've been using these for at least a year in my holiday cottage. I wouldn't say they last as many flushed as advertised but they do give a decent blue colour, have a fresh scent and help keep the toilet clean. If the blue seems to be running low I give them a little tip to the side in the cistern and they keep going for another week or 2. Better than the blue dissolvables that seem to clog my cistern and don't last long at all. Only question I have is how to dispose of them as they are glass but also plastic..

I purchased these on Feb 4th 2025. I haven't had to replace the one I placed in my cistern. Can't say there is any fragrance from it, the water has a slight blue tinge upon flushing........but I haven't had to use my toilet brush for limescale, or stains since then. Knocked down a star due to the lack of scent.

I am deducting all 5 stars due to the blatant exaggeration "up to 2000 flushes" in the advertising. This is something which no company should ever do. But, when it is unnecessary, as in this case, it is just plain stupidity. This is something which would always (now nearly always) put me off buying again - ever! If this product reached 2000 flushes then we each flushed our downstairs loo once every hour every day and right through the night. I don't think so, that's one mighty stretch by any standard. It actually lasted approximately twice as long as the Top selling, and most expensive Blue block in our upstairs loo. Another drawback is the problem of extracting the glass container when empty. Expected, so, accepted. However. I still, in spite of how much more expensive it is compared to regular blocks, have just purchased 4 more. Why? Because it quite simply kept my loo clean while every dissolvable wrapped block I have tried left a residue in the bowl which became more visible as the block weakened. (Actually, this residue, no matter how well the loo is cleaned before using the block is rather disgusting. Using a secondary cleaner is an absolute must. Also, some of these blocks, if the flush splashes the toilet seat stain the underside of the seat which you then have to bleach to remove it. I also noticed a build up of black stains on the inside of the cistern below the waterline which this product has actually reduced slightly with the first jar. The blue colour is lighter than that of normal blocks btw - better to my mind as you can see that the bowl is clean while the dark blue of others obscures the staining. The plusses - It cleans well; it is Eco friendly; the containers are recyclable.

Possibly the most disappointing product ever by way of not living up to the way the product is described - each pod/container lasted just under 5 days, in a bathroom used by just one person, that’s not home everyday! No place near 200 flushes, 2000 is just an insane lie by the manufacturer! Total waste of money!

If you follow instructions and start with a clean, descaled toilet bowl, these really work great. No lime scale build-up at all and they last a good while. I tried the pink ones, as these were more expensive at the time, but did not like those, because you cannot tell when they run out. These colour the water noticeably, so you know when to replace them. With the pink ones, you don't. One thing I was dismayed to find: they have changed the container, so you can no longer unscrew the lid for recycling, which is bad.. They have probably done it so that people cannot mistakenly remove the lid before using, but they have a sticker there, and their packaging should be recyclable. Just to be clear: you do not remove the sticker (even if it covers some of the holes, it will still work) or the lid before using. You just take it like it is, and put it. upright inside the cistern. Could not be simpler..

OK, firstly and most importantly it advertisers it is septic tank safe, I have not being able to use most products, so brilliant. Just put this in the cistern, then realised I'd put it in the area where the water inlet is, I was concerned at the other end because of the ball cock, and it not having room to go down all the way . As a result bright, dark blue water and probably will not last as long as advertised, I think this is where people are having issues, where in the cistern you put it really changes the functionality of this product.

Why on Earth would you need to ruin this product? It has been working so greatly! Longest time it lasted with frequent use. I have them on subscription, they last for over a month. Now, they just decided for unknown reason, it had to be changed to the point, where it became awful hard to open it from extra layer of plastic bag cover, and no matter it had been fully opened from that and that only, NOTHING would come out of those little holes on the top into the water. So I had to take it out to investigate what could go wrong again, and figured there was like a tiny transparent membrane layer all around from the INSIDE of the bottle, which prevented access through those little holes. As soon I tried to open up such membrane, look IT ALL CAME OUT AT ONCE! what a pleasure really. I just hope the whoever invented such completely unnecessary change to this otherwise already perfectly working product, will have to clean after such mess too, until they learn to first make sure what they created would actually function as intended. (for the record, my hands are pictured AFTER I already tried to wash it off with several different methods...)

Does the job. Love them. Toilets are clean and smell great.
