It is light and goes on with a moisturiser. I certainly recommend it for summer colour but as I also go on holiday in winter I use it year round. Just the right amount of simmer, and a gorgeous colour. Excellent price. Give it a try. I have fair/porcelain skin colour with neutral to cool undertones, and was concerned this colour would be too warm for me, and perhaps even look orange, but it doesn't. It's the perfect natural blushed cheek colour, and would work for any light to medium skin colour. It might not be pigmented enough for darker skin colours. That is also why I didn't give it 5 stars. It does have a reasonable amount of pigment (I would buy this again), but it'd be better with more; sometimes I want a bit stronger coloured cheeks, and this is not the easiest to build up. At least not for me. It has just the right amount of shimmer though.
