I had a wire short in my furnace wiring caused by a hot wire rubbing on a black iron pipe. I blew several fuses and two transfers ended up burning up.For a few more dollars, I thought I'd give this transformer a try since it has a circuit breaker and it seems more convenient to reset with a button. Even though my fuses were blowing, it didn't protect my original transformer from burning up.I would highly recommend this transformer if you are troubleshooting your wiring. Works like a charm and hopefully my wiring won't blow any more fuses, but at least I know this transformer adds another layer of protection.

This was available as a substitute for my failed control power transformer for my AC furnace. It is working perfectly for a month now. It saved me a $300 visit from the AC technician. It used for 240V to 24V for the AC/furnace controls.

These are used a lot for low voltage controls in the field. Good capacity. Picked one up for a special project at home.

Worked correctly and very helpful in debugging my HVAC problem. Didn't have to replace my transformer every time something went slightly wrong.

This heavy transformer was put in a single bag and shipped, which caused all the mounting points to bend, and at least one power connection to be severed. Completely unusable.
